It seemed to me people were unusually slow getting back after HT. stadium looked half empty when it kicked off again, more than normal. You put all that effort into making it intense for the first half then after the reset you’ve got that, doesn’t help

It was clear within a couple of minutes of the second half starting we were in for a grim half. I wish they’d react to that. Really disappointed by them - this can’t be undone by moving onto the next game and winning that. We’ve just let them do the double over us, something we last did TWENTY years ago

Liverpool drew away at Sheff Wed and Arsenal won by 2 goals. We won by 5 (5-0). Les Ferdinand's last game/goals :'-( We started the day level on points and GD with Arsenal and behind Liverpool by 2 points. We finished ahead of both of them on GD. A week earlier we'd been 3 points behind Arsenal and 5 behind Liverpool, but beaten Arsenal at Highbury while Liverpool lost.
