Yeah, he should’ve done better, but I didn’t expect it to go in. It’d have been a good goal if he scored it.

Last week i gave his technique the benefit of the doubt and assumed his technique was based on sending the keeper the wrong way. Ie that sending him the wrong way was part of the process and not just luck. Because aye, otherwise they’re going to be getting saved if you hit them there.

I don’t really think he bottled it psychologically, I just think it was a shit pen
-
Looked like he properly scuffed when see angle from behind. Unless it was a deliberate ploy to try to send him the wrong way or something
-
Bollocks was that a pen for Everton
-
Not too worried about him mentally bouncing back from that, think he’s already over it. Good at times but no way he’s a centre forward.
-
Fucking hell that was tense, frustrating. Thought on the ball we were looking like a good team again, a cut above these, but so frustrating lacking that final attacking quality
-
There for the taking this. Not worried about wor Anthony, sure he’ll have no issues keeping his chin up.
-
Imagine he scores against Everton and does her celebration to a wall of vitriolic abuse
-
I think it's the same chant - people just gradually increasingly shouted TOON on the clap part.

October now and no club. Just retiring?
-
Racecourse is completely unacceptable, don’t think they’d do it though.

Ah yes, we did normally go with the official travel club (though did have ST). Remember when I didn't get Tranmere ticket and my dad did we asked club and got told vaguely it was 'based on a 10 year record' (and I was only 10 years old). I had gotten 98 and 99 cup final tickets, so I guess the travel club matches counted towards the points still. Went on Junior Magpies bus a couple of times too, maybe 3 or 4 times. (First time Coventry away 95/96). Seems a shame that doesn't happen anymore.
-
Interesting about the empty seats. That's the season I first started going to away games as a little kid. I was asking my dad recently how I was able to get tickets in those days - they were bought in my name, with no points or history of purchase - thinking they must have been in really high demand. I mean this was THAT season. But looks like they weren't in high demand? odd. (my dad couldn't really remember but just remembers that it wasn't a problem. I never got declined a ticket til the FA Cup quarter at Tranmere in 99/00 when we only got about 700 tickets)

Given we got 16 k more from the last expansion, I thought it’d be more than 8k more if included east stand. Surely a move out of town cannot really be on the cards. I’d rather spend a couple of decades lingering in the championship and league one that move out of town.

Dortmund Celtic was about 3-2 on xG
-
Sounds as boring as the 0-0 with Palace and 1-0 (OG) Bournemouth two years ago... on our road to Traflagar Square
-
The retro trackie would look much better with the burgundy of the modern training gear imo. And would be more reminiscent of 95/96. I’d be all over that.

Manu at home when Howe was not long in and we hadn’t turned it around yet was a great one (1-1). Really cheering players on as they closed defenders down, felt like we were helping rattle the ManU players.
-
I thought it was pretty poor apart from a spell during the second half, considering who we were playing. The music wasn’t that loud at full time (as people including me have wanted) then it sounded awkwardly quiet with the crowd not making any noise.
-
You’re right, I don’t know what came over me.
-
Noticed this too. Don’t really blame a tourist doing it but anyone else
-
Just seen the goals, how in Premier League football, ManU no less, is Johnson just being left free at the back post for that first.
-
Put it this way - I think it's quite soft, but show me any player for any team in that situation and I'd expect it to be given.
