Whew. That did have a bit of an end times feel in the stadium almost from the start

Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United [LCSF 2nd Leg] (04/02/26)

That was over two legs. 3-1 and 2-0 is not humiliating by any means. Performance at times maybe a different story. -

Relieved we didn’t get humiliated in end -
Looking like he’ll be the worst player I’ve seen in our number 9 shirt, which is a bit mad given where we are and the money involved. Need to still make positive noises in the stadium though, hope he makes me look like a fool

At least when Cisse would be offside you could think he might catch out a dodgy linesman - there’s VAR now -

As well as being sad to see him go, I'm pretty sad we've lost that connection to the 2016/17 season :-( -
When we last won at Anfield (Watson) I watched it in the Odeon with my mate and his scouse dad - both Liverpool fans, aged 6. Got told off by the dad for over celebrating and upsetting the son. That celebration has had to last me over three decades!

I was there when we last won at Man City away, at Maine Road. I was 11. I’m now 36. Would have absolutely blown my mind if you told me that day I’d be getting on to be a middle aged blerk and still waiting for another

So 32 without a win all comps at Old Trafford, 30 of which were in the league. I make it that we've already matched that in the league. We are 30 all comps winless at Anfield since 1995, but that last win was in the cup, and we've had one other cup game there since. We lost there in the league in 1994/95 after winning in 1993/94. (So also 30 winless in league).

So we haven't won in the league at Anfield since 1994, or since 1995 all comps (30 games). What's our longest winless run away at a club? (number of games rather than time I suppose a better measure) I know we didn't win away at ManU from some time in the 70s til 2013.
