Aye it'd have been cool to finish top 8, but we didn't and what now...oh no...we have an extra pair of Champions League nights, where we'll be heavy favourites, quite possibly a lovely away trip to Monaco One of my main feelings when I thought we were top 8 was that it was good I'll save 65 pound on a match ticket. Of course you still get some good drama like Benfica. But even that shows how meaningless many of their games were - that was them getting through on 9 points from 8 games! They lost 5 and won 3, and went through anyway. Incomparable to the 6 pointers we had in our old groups.
