We've been given such a lifeline here, if we don't stay up it's embarrassing. It's not inconceivable that we could go to Villa park safe (not mathematically, but on GD). Hull have been in such bad form, they have to go down. Think mackems will be okay now, no way 2 will catch them.

Obviously would be nice if Bolton scored, but even if Sunderland win, I'll be very happy. This is fantastic, it's in our hands, touch wood, regardless of what happens at the Reebock!

Noel Gallagher is a great guy and frequently amusing. He's just winding people up, i've heard him take the piss out of geordies before along with scousers, cockneys and scots. Noel called the last gig in Newcastle the favourite so far of his tour and one of the members is from Bishop Auckland (not geordies i know, but sort of), i think they've referred to him as one.

I know. I'm so frustrated. I've so wanted him to succeed. He has an obvious passion for football, and if he could just sort the rest out. If he can't sort himself out, then it's actually a dent to my faith in humanity. I saw him hopefully as an example of how anyone from a dodgy background can reform, and I really thought he would.

I think particularly in our position, him, and Smith, are of large value. If we could somehow detain him and just get him to the games, I'd love it. When he's actually on the pitch, you can tell the football really means a lot to him.

I asked for people to calm down based on just the tackle. If the Sun's stuff's true, of course things are very different. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now though, not the biggest fan of the Sun.
