  1. I really don't know how I'll feel. I don't think I will feel teary but i wouldn't rule it out, i just can't imagine in. Regardless of how i feel, i wouldn't let it show. I think the best thing to do is sing our hearts out.
  2. They're just dickheads man and not representative of Villa fans. Remember chatting to Villa fans last year when they did us, and there was some prospect of relegation, they were sympathetic. Quite funny how some of them are calling for MON to get sacked when I'm sure that's the sort of thing that everyone supposedly hates us for.
  3. Pretty gutted now after seeing it on tv. I stood up for him earlier in the thread, but you're right. Nolan doesn't actually do anything wrong, though those are given often, and from my view (just near that) thought ref would give it. As for the sending off, technically was a foul, but soft, regardless, it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity as he wasn't near the ball, so no way a red.
  4. We don't want you? Who the f*** are you like? Some kind of fan spokesman. I'll go despite the fact i'm almost certain that we'll get beat. I think it's fair to say that if you go there CERTAIN we're down, the team are better off without you on Sunday. It's pretty stupid to be certain, people were like this after the pompy game too, yet i bet they wouldn't be certain they were safe as mackems or hull fans. People have this weird desire to pre-empt the worst case scenario, probably so they can act all cool and "I told you so" when things do go bad. We don't need this crap: How does that do anyone any good apart from cushion your precious heart from the pain if it should happen? Seriously, piss off. I suppose you're not even going to check the other results if we were to draw, because you already n#know? You piss off. I am realistic. We've been f***ing shocking all season, what can we expect? The Middlesboro game, a false dawn. Cushion my precious heart, it's been smashed far earlier on in the season. They are a bunch of gutless bastards, poor in quality at that. Doesn't matter how s*** Villa are, they'll beat us, because we are that bad. The glass is smashed entirely, there's no glass to hold half in. I don't think Hull will beat Man United either for that matter. I don't trust us to be anything other than defeated. It seems when we really need to win, we can't do it, Middlesboro excepted but they are f***ing god awful. I'll go where i want to go thank you very much, get off your high horse man. It's possible, yes. Probably right next to me inventing a cure for cancer on the scale. I'll be absolutely devastated, when, it happens. Our club ruined. High horse because i'm not naive enough to think it's impossible for a crap team to get a point at a team with a mediocre home record. All your doing is trying to pre-empt a "I told you so". It's stupid. How can you possibly know? Nobody does, you're just being completely irrational. Neither would I trust us to get something, but I know it's possible. Lucky ref decision, flukey goal, poor villa with a fighting performance, wonder goal, whatever, we don't know. Will you not take any notice of how long is left, because you know certainly we're going to lose? Won't cheer when we score, because you actually know they'll score 2 more. It's ridiculous to be so defeated. Improbable, I'd agree, impossible (unless you're actually in the field of cancer research, I'll assume that's what you meant) simply incorrect. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you're probably extra riled and negative after today, I know I am. I just know I'm going to Villa hoping, and everyone needs to be. Why else would I go?
  5. Normally I'd think so, but I think Allardyce losing his job so fast really made us less attractive. He could do well at Fulham for years. He could do better here, but there is too great a risk he'll be back jobless.
  6. HOWAY THE LADS. I hope the support is good next week, like it was at Liverpool. Such a huge game. Can't imagine what it will be like should we go down? Smashing stuff up? Me too. And to think the last comparable situation was only several years ago as we were only beating Birmingham 1-0 and could blow our Champions League position! Makes me feel old I could have experienced such contrasting situations. If we get a penalty in the last minute to save us, i think i could actually die. I felt sick when shearer had the one at the SoL and that was nowhere near as crucial. Even if we score, i think the pain of the build-up would make it not worth it. Also, what will it be like if we're 2-0 down 20mins in with no sign of attack?

I suppose you're not even going to check the other results if we were to draw, because you already n#know? It's just about having a different perspective on life than you, that's all. You're clearly a "glass half-full" sort of person whereas others are more grounded in reality and recognise their glass is actually needing refilled. I'm okay with people's glasses being half empty, if they'll at least recognise that it's only HALF empty. Honestly, I think we will probably go down, but i'm not naive enough to think i know, and until it actually certain, there's no point in claiming it is. People are obviously being over -ve to claim it's over, because it quite undeniably isn't. Fine go to Villa thinking you'll probably return gutted, but go there hoping and fighting for survival. People really need a bit of perspective. Would they be proclaiming definite survival as a Hull fan with Man U (yes, reserves, but still...) or mackem? I doubt it.
  8. Ferguson loves Bobby. Maybe he wouldn't want to relegate us in Bobby's final years.
  9. Or draw even. For us to get level on pts, our GD would inevitably be better.

  11. Looked a bit dodgey and nervous last couple of games, and was disappointed with him today, but overall good season, and would rather be taking him to Villa than col.
  12. From what I saw, doesn't deserve too much stick. Red card looked fair. Don't know if their goal was offside, but it's not his call. I said before the cross went in for Viduka Nolan would give away a fk, he was blocking Shwazer at least before the cross. Gave quite a lot of soft free kicks to us. I'm angry with the team and noone else.
  13. 7 down to 4 last week, now back upto 7. Of course we're not down, as it's hardly inconcievable we could get a point and hull lose, or one of the other possible scenarios. If you think "it's all over" please stay away from Villa Park, we don't want you there. However, be difficult to get something at Villa, and it's not in our hands.
  14. I thought both the players and fans were crap today. Neither seemed to realise that today was actually a huge game.
  15. What is it, a Blue Star game?
  16. I've not got a name and number on for years. I'd always get my favourite player's number with my name on (though it wouldn't always fit!) but that was more for playing. Thinking might play it safe with Shearer since I know he won't leave. First time I ever got a player on was Batty, and he left that season, and nearly got Milner on current one, then he left. I'll be cautious.
  17. I certainly agree the whole Keegan leaving saga affected the performance that day, but not specifically the banner.
  18. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_5316526,00.html How about if you start playing at some decent level to deserve your permission to question things!!! What's he meant to say, that he's crap? he shouldn't even be questioning the decision, it's that kind of attitude that shearer's had to get rid from the dressing room if you don't like it michael then f*** off because on current form m8, the best club your gonna get is celtic or somewhere like wigan I thought managers liked it when players aren't happy to be dropped. Really don't see the problem, people are way too sensitive when it comes to Owen. He's a player who's lost ability and i think there's nothing more to it.

  20. 7 to a 4. Hull definitely more likely now.
  21. Agreed. Best after Viduka i think, and i was saying that before his assist.
  22. I honestly wouldn't fault his effort at all. He just isn't what he was, though I'd probably prefer him on to Martins. Granted, Martins scored, but I think that was just luck he was given the chance. I was very glad to see Owen tonght after the final whistle come right up to the corner flag, hug/shake every team mate's hand and clap the fans.
  23. Glad to see some appreciation. Definitely worth of MotM despite not scoring. He's a class player, I'd start him every week. Even on his more quiet games he has a touch of class that makes him important i think, but especially worked hard tonight.
  24. the amount they score isn't......is it possible for us to win all 3 and go down ? Yes, but the amount they score won't matter if we score more. It's in our hands.
