Viduka ? hardly -
I think Bentley could be tempted by moves to Villa or Newcastle. It would be difficult to persuade him, but i think it'd be worth a shot. I think those 2 and Everton have a more realistic chance of getting amongst it, despite current standings.
-
I don't get why his subs get booed. I like him and he played well but owen was better. People just seem too see him as immune whatever.
-
Third. Playing in a rubbish team but still a spark, the sort of player that would have helped us much this season

I don't know if my attitude to Sunderland is changing. I love the rivalry but i think hate is reducing. I felt quite happy seeing them win today, especially with Chopra. I just feel i'd rather a proper club like them with good fans was in the division than crap like bolton

Owen in a deeper role - could it be the way forward?
Superior Acuña replied to Dave's topic in Football
Owen's a very good footballer and has always done well when dropping back i think. -
We wouldn't be able to spend it anyway really. I think we can attract good players, but not the sort that use up that kind of money.
-
I'm nervous, we could mess up, but if we win i reckon we can absolutely do them. Someone's going to get it i think. Sheff Wed style after our bad form. It's not quite a mustwin, but i think it's very close. Win and i think we'll be fine, but lose and we've got to be at least 2nd favourite to go down.

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

I really feel like we're staying up now. Probably get shot down for saying this, but surviving this (touch wood) will at least make me not take premiership status for granted as i did. -
Good job i'm going by car bastards
-
I'm very nervous, but accompanied by excitement. I don't normally focus a whole day around build up for a night time match. Just put my toon top on, to go out - to the library.
-
I can't remember feeling like this in years, so excited! Ahh! Wish i was there. It could make, but i don't think break. Win and i expect us to stay up. Draw and i think it's good. Lose and i'll feel pretty much the same as i do now. Losing to fulham would break (unless we win tonight perhaps)
-
I know. I feel so nervous on derby days. Normally much more so for away ones, but this one's going to be so huge!
-
Have we tried calling Uri Gellar? He did beat Arsenal for us after all.
-
I'm really excited! Howay the lads! So wish i could go.

Cruyff was a major smoker, too, use to smoke on the bench I believe (when a player). In fact, didn't he smoke hs way to a heart bypass? Vialli also, big fan of the tabs. Zidane as well. Maybe there is something to this? Someone suggest to KK that he starts buying B&H for Alan Smith and we'll graph up the results. I saw Ginola light up when i met him
-
I think a Wigan win is best for us, then draw. Not a Bolton win. Bolton have really hard fixtures. Lose, and wins v birmingham and fulham could leave us 9 points clear.

Not stopped me making the journey up to Newcastle this year on numeruous occasions and attending several away games as well. Despite me not owning a car may I add. The thing that pisses me off is this is a game that could decide our fate in this league and people can't be bothered to go the extra mile. I know I will definetly up for the Fulham, Reading and Sunderland (If I can get tickets) games just because there such huge games. On a Monday night it's not about being arsed, it's about being possible. I'd love to go. I'm going down to Portsmouth which is a lot more effort and it's not a game i'm anticipating like Birmingham, but i can't go to Birmingham, because i live in Edinburgh and have to be at uni at 9 the next morning! I'm sure it's similar for many Edinburgh to Portsmouth!? Jesus. Great effort mate. I'd love to go too I just can't get there or back and won't be able to afford the train + ticket. Hypocritical bleeder is stozo. Nah, to be fair I'll be in Newcastle at the time. If it's a weekend i'll normally go down to Newcastle on the friday night then the away game the next day (though i flew from edinburgh for the reading game).

To be fair, i've not been tempted to go to a game like this for years, i think there's major incentive. It's huge, and to be there and wi will be amazing. But living in Scotland, i can't do it and be back for uni at 9 the next morning.

It is a Monday night. We've been selling out loads of away games, this is hardly indicative of poor support. I would be there but i can't get back that late!
