Think sunderland will stay up in the lower-middle table. Boro could well go down. Though i feel more of a rivalry with the mackems i've got more respect for sunderland. I mean, who the hell are boro? I don't believe they've not had a single card between them

Anelka will just want to move on again though. He's been banging on about top 4 teams again

THERE IS NO £6 million release clause for owen

clause or not, he's always going to go cheap with a year on his contract, like when he left liverpool -

Norwich 3-0 in April 1995. I believe Beardsley, Cole and Fox scored - i think (i was 5. think that was my only game that season, but i started very regularly the next season, including some away games) My first away game was 3-1 at Everton in the 95/96 season -
I'd have a bit of taylor at centre half like. Shevchenko has a nice gentle face

Another great result today and once more what an atmosphere though I did nearly miss that start of the match but just arrived as the teams were lining up. I honestly think we won't get anything from the Italy game and the bloody Georgia game will be hard enough. Unfortunatly I think we will be sweating on the Ukraine v France game to have any chance of qualification which is a shame after what can only be described as our best ever qualifying campaign. Aye. It's a shame. We've done so unbeliably well, but i still feel we'll be pipped. I reckon France and Italy will take maximum points in their other games which means we must beat georgia and get something of italy. We can, but we're still up against it. For such work to go unrewarded will be horrible and i so hope to be booking up for the alps in the summer. If we beat georgia - that task should not be taken for granted, nor should the magnitude of today's win - it should be great at hampden for italy.

I'm enjoying going through these. I think they're wasting Moyes though, he could be brought in

I like the thriller one on page 3

Didn't owen slag off sven as soon as he could? And i'd be surprised if he wanted to go. If he's going to leave, i expect he'd want a significant jump

You sort of assume it will be here, but it's only really been around properly for less than 150 years, so it may well not be a long term thing

Speed relieved of Bolton coaching duties, set to return?

I thought he looked like he still had it in shearer's testimonial. Sign him, him and barton -
But i don't believe he is. He wanted to start on sunday for us. The fact he didnt for us, and probably will for england, is down to the managers
-
But look at the timing of the injuries. It's just incidental. The norm is injuries will affect club more than coutry, but there are always anomolies and owen is one. He gets an injury in january that was always expected to have him out for just less than 5 months. England played in just over 5 months. He then gets injured for nearly a year, so he's back just before england's summer games.
-
We are in the media a hell of a lot for what is essentially a midtable club, at least atm
-
I really do think the statistics are purely incidental. I do think England is more of a passion for him than Newcastle, but i don't doubt his commitment at newcastle (he may prefer somewhere better, but while he's here i think he gives his all)

How much do you think Bent and Smith are worth in todays market? i think smith would go for the same.... bent... omg... impossible... freebie? hehe Bent probably scored more goals last year/the year before than Smith has in 3-4 seasons. Bent imo is worth 8 to 10 million. Smith.. much more close to what we payed for.. still pretty crap though. Smith was not an improvement on Dyer. He did cost less than dyer

No. Players can't play against their parent clubs If it says so in the contract..... Lua Lua played and scored against us. I think it's changed I'm still not over that. How idiotic was it to allow our own forward play against us. Possibly denied us CL
