tiote raises my heart rate when he has the ball on the edge of our box. Me too, it's properly nerve-wracking. Yeah it's quite the rush - I still think there's a good player there somewhere with Tiote Same, but if that good player doesn't show himself this season I'll lose any faith in him. i'm not sure it's entirely up to him. I think he's being asked to do to much and also our style does not help. If he's bad this season then agree we should just sell, although I would rather get rid of Pardew and see what would happen if pressure was off him a bit.

Never seen Barkley really, heard he's decent, do you think he will be top class? In a word, yes. Then again I thought Rodwell would be brilliant - I still think he can be excellent - but injuries have taken their toll and of course, the utterly absurd move to Man City. If we weren't well stocked in central midfield, I'd have him back. As for Barkley, he has a footballing intelligence well beyond his years. Could make a fair case of saying he's been the best player on the pitch in every single one of our 3 games so far. He makes some mistakes, of course, but his directness, quickness of feet and creativity suggest he's got a massive future and, perhaps a bit biased again, but is well worth his place in the England squad, if we are judging relative candidates. It's difficult because I used to think players should earn an England call up and I thought why the fuck is Townsend in there, however young players are not really first choice at their clubs because of the amount of foreign players - us being a prime example. Hopefully the likes of city and Chelsea don't try and buy and ruin him then, he'd be best off at Everton for years to come rather than another squad player at fantasy football united (Fucking hate those two cuntish clubs)

Also, Lambert - yes it's nice to see players work there way up and make it, but the reality is he could only play in world cup next year and will be retired or close to by the euro's. What's the point, try and build a squad that is sustainable for next 2 world cups.
-
Need to put a couple young midfielders in and start forming next team, may be pain in short term but better than Lampard and Gerrard who won't play past World Cup. I mean Lampard has some good qualities, but he's 35 ffs, need to bring through another midfielder, even if not that level.

If Sissokho can improve his end product and do more of his powerful runs it will be exciting, so quick at times just needs to start scoring /creating from them I thought he was injured? What injury?

I'm not sure how much a boycott would affect things unless sustained over a few games. Mass walk out half way through a game would be fun, however will just see us end up in championship. Better idea would be whole crowd protest at the game and venting feelings just not sure how that would work. I do think our fans need to stop accepting it and at least show some passion at the games, its very subdued now.
-
Watching England is just not exciting whatsoever is it, they are the equivalent of us on international stage. Lampard and Gerrard in midfield together ffs, I tend to lose interest in games after first half and switch it off.

I will now go to see Ben Arfa and Remy, Sissokho but I was in same boat. He's the only watchable player
-
Just let him do what he wants but don't just stand there and watch him amaze, if we move when he has the ball he will pick players out, he has shown his vision in last few games
-
I think I've just discovered I'm colourblind. me to
-
Just not sure, I think around 7/8 at moment. If Remy and Ben Arfa stay fit probably 3/4
-
Probably thinks transfer window closes in March
-
I think the success of our season rests on Shola and Jonas being ruled out for the whole season
-
I agree, we have enough to do OK, barring injury disasters. Especially if Pardew lets them off the leash a bit. But obviously we really needed a striker in at least, and it's really poor that we didn't do it. If Pardew lets our players off leash we would hammer a few teams I reckon (Also probably get hammered by a few on break though) - personally I would take the chance.
-
Hope so, otherwise what's the point. Got to be mafia from there man

They won't do anything other than keep what you've already paid. I cancelled mine in June. So whats all this about you cant cancel until February? You can, you just don't get the money back that you've already paid. Which is why most people won't as they see they have already effectively paid up for games to Jan. I'm in that boat where yes I still have to pay out until January/Feb and will watch this season but then won't commit to next year. Your allowed to go watch games and still have an opinion though btw, not everyone needs to protest by not attending. I am giving up because sick of watching us play and can't justify the spend on that shit, but I don't judge people that still decide to go
-
The only real hope we have is that Remy looks decent, Sissokho could be useful with Remy in the team. Also our french players will want to do well to get in France squad next summer. Interesting to see how Cabaye does and whether he now steps up knowing no move is happening for a few months. If we really have no plans strengthening year on year the youth setup needs revamping and we need to start bringing them through and giving them chances (Not just loaning out - Ferguson, Tav, Newton, Campbell, Sammy, Vuckic). Need to be ruthless with youngsters that just aren't making it
-
Sessegnon was only player they had that could play in the hole or what you would class as dynamic, not sure Borini is any of that. Sessegnon was unpredictable and could be difficult to defend against. Not sure Borini would score more than 5 goals this season
-
Which is why they will sign players in January, that's always the plan to entice ticket holders to renew. I'm not falling for it this time
-
I just read that out in cockney accent for Mike's part and believe it to be actual quote
-
They think signing 14 players has to be good for them, the quality of those signings though is awful for most part. Sessegnon by far their most dangerous player gone to a rival in the league, not good. Might still work out for them but does not look good and smacks of dicuntio's time at Swindon replacing full teams I believe, they were warned Be funny as fuck if we still finish above them despite not signing anyone
