Not having Wilson or Isak kills us up front as think they would have had a couple today. Another positive with most players fit we were mostly able to keep going full 90, not back to total pressing intensity best yet but signs were there. Hopefully get through to Jan in or around top 4/5 and sign a couple players.

And while it was frustrating we couldnt finish thought there were positive signs in our play even if Everton played low block we moved well across the middle, much different to previous games I think.

Don't get the Tonali was poor stuff. Thought his movement, availability for the ball and moving it quickly was decent, still growing into it but covered the ground well as well.

We look more solid and better control compared to games before city, seems to be a bit sharper but absolutely shit at hurting teams given the amount of times we had it in their half

I can't see us finishing above 7th/8th this season and that might mean big changes next season to bridge that gap and few bigger players leaving. We look too vulnerable and not offering enough attacking threat. I really thought defence was the issue and still is a bit but our inability to play through teams like we had been doing is killing us. We look weak and feable going forward. If we hadn't finished 4th we would probably be happy with a 7th place finish and build again.

I think that's a good interview, especially around dealing with multiple deals at once. For too long we seem to focus on one thing. Also the global reach and scouting is needed and Eddie has to make some trade offs/accept to improve we need to look further to get the value

We might need a change in formation to try and find that balance, maybe a 2 in centre mid and 1 in front to link up better or 3 at the back with Hall/Livramento as wing backs. Just need to find ways to retain more of the ball and create space for ourselves further up pitch as constantly run into trouble and too static. Was evident when occasional midfield triangle it created space between Spurs mid and Defence.
