Hopefully make it a hatrick of defeats on Wednesday for those whining cunts
-
Wow he left Longstaff on, wtf
-
The drop in quality is huge when Bruno, Gordon and Isak don't play and Tonali but think Miley is decent
-
Longstaff also has his body all wrong when receiving ball so never takes it with chance to progress and then slow as fuck shifting it
-
If Everton want Longstaff I will drive him there myself. So fucking clueless on the ball
-
That's a lot but I think it's good they give them to schools and kids get a chance that otherwise maybe wouldn't and wish all premier league clubs had a quota of tickets that had to be allocated to less fortunate people or to encourage kids as the prices are horrendous if taking a family to a match especially at likes of spurs etc. Maybe they already have a scheme like that but not aware of it.
-
It's a shame we can't use all our money to just accelerate it all but then I think would feel a bit souless if just mop up all top players, Man City and Chelsea just plastic clubs at this point.
-
At some point this nonsense must drive down wages and fees if foreign clubs /others can't rely on Premier league cash if price too high. I would love us to just find a different way with bringing talent through and getting them early and let the big clubs crack on with spunking 50 million up the wall for utter shite players. Maybe even spend a decent amount on top talents occasionally to really take us to next level but building a talent pipeline would be better.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

Yeah having Pope back in is terrifying because of how much he panics when ball at his feet and can't kick for shit. Dubravka moves the ball on quicker as well while Pope takes forever and allows opposition to get back into shape. -

Maybe they think safer option keeping until summer when more options are available as probably don't want to bring a young keeper straight in now. Or they may have plans to spend some money and rather do it higher up the pitch. -

I think this period with him in goal has shown how much we need a keeper with good distribution to progress. -
Did we not ay with the same ball 🤣
-
Not a left back but a fucking good centre half. He gives everything for that shirt, perfect for this team right now
-
He's fucking unreal compared to the kid that barely played last season. Excellent on the ball and good off it. I think he's been on Joelintons roids the strength he's showing and been taking lessons off Bruno on how to keep the ball then fall for the foul
-
We know how to stay in front like. Still panic like fuck watching it but we give everything to not concede. 3 away wins in a row at places we always struggle is massive.
-
They are like a prime Stoke. I do believe it's pointless playing physical and long ball against us. We are shitter when being ran at and quick play.
-
As fans we all think of immediate success and changes. They undoubtedly have a longer term strategy to get us to the top and keep us there. It's difficult when we have been shit for so long and needs patience. 4 years in and in reality might take 3-4 years more to get where they want to be. We are probably the 5th or 6th best team in league on paper and could even nab champions league with our current team this year if our form is pretty consistent. Convinced Forest and Chelsea will wobble, Man City will regain form and be there then I think Villa is the only worry and they don't look great right now. With our back four looking stronger with Botman back and enough options further up the pitch we stand a good chance on finishing 4th or 5th

Know how to see games out again, disciplined 2nd half and still could have scored. We seem to be absolutely swamping teams first half but drop off 2nd but don't care as our shithousery is immense and we have won last 3 away games. They were stronger 2nd half but does feel we purposely don't press as high up and they still couldn't do anything against us. Feels good being 13 clear of Man U and 11 clear of Spurs, now to attack top 4 in our next home games.
-
Maybe a right winger and backup centre half as well, would also like a new keeper but know will probably only get to sign 1 player if any in Jan.
-
True and if reasonably priced would take a punt on him.
-
Strangely while he's shit at the old goal scoring I think he would offer a different dimension, can hold ball up well and good in the air, could bring others into the game and a physical player.
-
Ah ok, all a blur to me, thought he set out as 433 from first game
