  1. Didn't we used to complain when wouldn't buy experienced players/players for now under Ashley. I think there will be a plan to mix some inexperience which we have with more experienced players and won't all be flashy. I still trust management and rest of club to get it all right.
  2. How can they do fair market value on transfers, it's very subjective surely like depending on needs/timing a player may be worth more to buying club or selling club may need to take less or a club may hold others to ransom and up to buying club to pay it if rate player/deal is worth it to them.
  3. Think it would work better if Gordon was on left if Kane is coming short. Him and Saka or Bowen at least get behind. Foden too deep and coming in constantly, won't go outside or trouble fullback, Eze again not a left winger
  4. That was just awful. No plan at all, no attacking just utter shit. The whole setup in midfield and attack doesn't work.
  5. Liverpool can afford for it not to work out because of quality they already have. That £40 million to us is potentially 2 new first team upgrades and we need the money to progress rather than taking gambles on him turning out ok. I would even accept selling Bruno for 100 mill if it means we can strengthen team as a whole as rely on a few key players right now. They may also take that 40 mill and look for other young potential to loan out which is probably the strategy and where we are at moment and to progress with restrictions in place we are going to need to generate revenue.
  6. Would the right way not be to say investors can invest X amount each season or each club can spend X amount a season say 200 million but only if the owners are making up he losses or revenue stream supports it. That way teams like us can compete on even level. I'm all for financial controls and retaining competition but only if it gives all teams a fair chance to compete whereas current rules are geared to that traditional top 6 due to them building under less restrictions previously.
  7. Seems like a top lad, like others thought he was a horrible fucker at Everton but think that was his will to win. Watching that Overlap show with him and things like this show how down to earth he is

    Lewis Hall

He was excellent, has been last few games. He's got great feet and seems to be coping defensively much better than earlier in season. Him and Tino could turn out to be bargains.

    Next season

We didn't have enough quality in the team/squad to sustain the extra games and the injuries. Can see that with some players that were consistent throughout but clearly have the quality like Bruno, Isak and Gordon, they have been mint most games. Think likes of Trips is showing his age a bit, some young players finding their feet like Tino,Hall, Anderson and Miley and some bang average players that can't be consistently good like Longstaff, Murphy, Alimiron, Kraft. Would include Burn but think he's played well most games and looked decent since stepping into middle. Having a keeper that can't save shots like Dubravka hasnt been great.

    Next season

Just need to be much better defensively next season, too many easy goals leaked and teams cutting through midfield a lot. Need to be more cohesive going forward as well and upgrading that right side of the the team is key as well as defensive players. Scoring goals hasnt been the issue but having a midfield that can't control a game other that Bruno has been a big issue, Tonali might help that, also having a fairly shit right winger every game has limited us and the sloppy as fuck passing from Longstaff/Others kills us. We need a serious upgrade there and someone other than Bruno that can play sharp passes, retains the ball well and can move us forward. On the left I think we are well set, Hall starting to look a player, cover from Burn, Target and Liveramento, maybe Kelly as well and further up have Gordon/Barnes and Joelinton/Isak can also cover or Hall as well.
  11. Chelsea have been as shit as us away from home and their next 2 games are away, we need to win today and pickup a point as can't see them and Man U getting more than 6 points which is what they will need if we win today and get a draw in next 2
  12. Feel like there was a few younger keepers mentioned in twitter feed and feels like that's what we need a younger keeper to deputise for Pope next season with view they step up year after. Wouldn't spunk anywhere near 60 million on Ramsdale.
  13. Ah suppose for purpose of PSR wouldn't really matter or if paid longer term on books
  14. It means all the PSR shit is not going to matter to them and should for us either if that's the case. Bet Amanda etc have been waiting for this to all unfold
  15. On this with Bruno having a release clause can we still just demand they pay it all up front which may put a few off a bit, or maybe doesn't matter with City so much, or is it better we took installments anyway as spreads the revenue.
  16. Open the floodgates if this happens, we will just pay the settlement and buy who we want. Surely also means huge legal challenge from Forest if they go down.
  17. Plus Brighton have only lost 3 games at home Spurs, Man City and Arsenal. They have a decent home record and confident they would get something against Man U and Chelsea, they are shit away.
  18. One win and a draw will be enough to see off Man U looking at it as can't see arsenal not beating them, probably same with Chelsea as leaves them needing 7 points. Must win on Sat.
  19. We need a athletic midfielder to cover the ground and in some games be there to break up the play, too often we get cut through the middle and the lack of athleticism means teams are at our back 4. Need to be able to control games a bit more as well and retain the ball. Sell Longstaff, bring in a defensive mid, play Bruno, tonali or joelinton alongside and have Anderson/Willock and Miley as well. Tough one as need 2 centre half, young striker and right forward as well.
  20. Well can't see spurs getting anything against City and hopefully Burnley or Sheff Utd beat them. We need at least 7 points either way
  21. Still think we will finish above them and Man U, huge pressure on Man U tomorrow and I think we will beat Brighton sat but no idea about game at Old Trafford, a draw would do and beat Brentford. Can't see Chelsea winning remaining 3 games, Brighton away won't be a pushover for them
  22. We only won 2 more matches last season than this, been the draws to losses that have killed us.
  23. He's only had an impact on the result in 2 games this season Brentford and Wolves, feels like right time to sell him. Other goals have came when game already won/lost. His injuries and having a lot less impact in our games in general.
  24. Also fair to say Palace are playing decent stuff and well in form, they have some really decent players.
