  1. Playing Sissoko and Wijnaldum away from home is like playing with 9 men every time
  2. There is no fucking way we stay up getting digitally fingered like this.
  3. Fucking garbage as usual. What is the fucking point in Wijnaldum and Sissoko away from home, defence are fucking terrible. We should have gone with 3 in centre
  4. The thing is he has absolutely no idea how to turn things around when they go bad. I can imagine them winning 1 before the end of season.
  5. Could really do with getting a draw minimum in this and beating stoke next game. At least he hasn't picked a stupid 3-5-2
  6. Imagine if he's just a really shit manager that hits lucky 1 month a season and basically gives up after xmas. Surely he hasn't consistently done that.
  7. Six clean sheets in a row as it stands. Seems Forster coming back has made all the difference. He looked cack when in our reserves, really became a top class keeper

    Steve McClaren

At least we have seen some evidence of it under him at home. Pardew just flat out lied about it. I think McLaren genuinely wants to play attacking possession based football but just fails to implement it or motivate the players. Our home form has got gradually better and we now don't look like complete pushover's but we have to do it away from home and adjust slightly as you can't just attack, the players also have to be ruthless with the chances they get and stop wasting them.

    Sunderland

I suspect he did, I reckon PFA stepped in or his solicitor after he was suspended to say he hadn't been charged. No idea what the legal issues would be. They may have been just seeking legal advice before sacking him the other day as not exactly normal contract stuff or situation. At least I hope that's the case otherwise disgusting from that club. The fans mind were sick in their defending of him, chants were just wrong and they deserve the stick they now get as a lot of them were backing him. Same ones taking moral high ground now. It's just fucking sick what the creep has been doing. Mind some of the jokes are class :-)

    Sunderland

Literally pissing myself laughing after catching up on this thread today :-)
  11. Yes but we are a totally different team at home, our form lately at home has been quite decent. Away from home players go missing which is why we may be best adjusting it with Wijnaldum dropping out as we can't afford him and Shelvey to disappear

    Graham Carr

I reckon he would play well with Shelvey based on nothing at all other than he works hard and plays quick short passes
  13. Wouldn't be totally against colback or saivet starting instead of Wini to try and be solid in first half, bring Wini on second half
  14. If they end up marking each other on set pieces, yeah. The battle against Terry will be the one to watch. He more than held his own, against some of the brutes in WBA's back 4. Olsen is a huge bloke. But Terry has played at the highest level for a long while. So I am interested to see how he competes with him and whether we get any service to Mitro. There will be a lot of pumped long balls and clearances. So he's going to have to put another shift in. Just thinking back to the game. One thing that does annoy me with Mitro, is the play acting. He does it fairly regularly and at one point, he actually cried out so loud, the whole ground could hear him. There is usually f*** all wrong with him, as well. I get that it's part of the game now. But when your front man looks like a Serbian gangster and he starts crying every time he is touched. It just doesn't seem right, to me. I think all we should do is long ball to him for this one and get Wijnaldum, Townsend and Sissoko as close as possible to him when it drops.
  15. He even said on MOTD that it was like a win for them. Its almost as if he's some kind of super cunt who spouts shit all of the time
  16. I thought he was absolute garbage until he moved to the left. His decision making is atrocious and not ruthless at all.

    Steve McClaren

So he really meant to judge him on his last 10 games, not first. Fair enough. Get these next few games out the way and we can look forward to winning some

I would rather go down than watch that turd manage us
  19. Massive game, a draw just isn't enough given Norwich could beat Villa. I'm not sure whether I would be happy to lose and replace him or win and see him potentially hang on until it's too late. Yeah, tough one. The 3 points are massive, but would they sack him after a win? Maybe would do so anyway after losing at Chelsea. I can't see them sacking him for losing against a Chelsea or Man City but losing to West Brom at home surely finishes him off
  20. Btw, at what point do we recall Armstrong
  21. I think we need to switch to playing 2 up front with someone like Perez or maybe doumbia in front of him and let him try and know ball on like Watford do with Deeney. Play Townsend and Sissoko with Shelvey and Wijnaldum in centre at home go long if we have to and try and use his presence up there to create chances. I honestly think we would be better as a 2 up front and get some crosses in than the current 4-2-3-1 that has never really worked for us. Alternatively tighten up with a 3 in centre mid (Tiote/Saivet centre) with Shelvey/Wijnaldum to the sides (Or Sissoko) Sissoko and Townsend or Perez wide and high up and Mitro centre with Perez and Townsend remit to get as close to him as possible and drop to make a 5 when defending.
  22. Massive game, a draw just isn't enough given Norwich could beat Villa. I'm not sure whether I would be happy to lose and replace him or win and see him potentially hang on until it's too late.
  23. I have us down as beating West Brom, Swansea and probably Palace, draw with Villa and possibly a shock draw against Spurs, Liverpool or Chelsea. Maybe a bonus win against Norwich or Bournemouth giving us possibly 14 points so 35 in total. I think Norwich and Sunderland will get around that as well as their games look tough. If we don't beat both of them we are gone.
