That's a fairly decent team on paper with some good blend of height, pace and technical players. All of front 4 have goals in them, No Williamson and although Taylor is bad, he is nowhere near Williamson bad.

You need at least 2 players for each position so that would be 22. We have got around 22 now I think

It's concerning just how easily we are conceding goals. The game on Sat will tell a lot as last game before season starts and will surely be the team that starts against Southampton

At least the coaching staff look hands on, trying to coach. Whether it comes off or not McLaren and co seem more likeable and professional unlike Pards and the other clowns

Don't know how people can write him off like. He was playing for us at 17 ffs, he has shown bits here and there and may struggle due to height but looks decent technically and has pace. He need 2 seasons on loan at league 1 and then championship and hopefully will bring his game on.

If he continues the way he is and doesn't get injured he could be class. Would be worst thing for him leaving now to warm a bench elsewhere as I reckon McLaren will use him

Yeah, I'm just aching to see what our full first team would look like and how they play together. I'm pretty sure it's gonna take a few months to get the Carvdew pheromones out of the dressing room and for us to look like a football team again. On the other hand, I'm concerned how far down the table we'll be come Christmas if we start the season off craply. I'm dying to see what a team without a spastic centre half would play like

McClaren could just be trying to make it sound like we are done to make clubs like QPR etc lower price / worry about deals. Certainly hope that's the case as we need another centre half badly and a winger. If we only get 2 more signings that should be priority. If we sell Cisse then a striker as well. We do seem to have a few attacking options with wijnaldum, Perez, Aaron's, de jong, sissoko and cabella. Hopefully Mitrovic gives us the presence we need up front and we keep the rest fit

We have to make this a priority now, Williamson and Taylor just have to go. They are useless. We need at least one more cb with Mbemba otherwise we will just leak goals again

In terms of skill level they are the best players we have out there tbh. If we get Aarons, Gini, Perez and Mitrovic out there could be good going forward. Shitting myself about defence though. Need Mbemba to be good and have someone else competent alongside him.

I thought the update might have been he is an awesome centre half but totally wrong. He would probably be good a couple of levels down. Might be even better for him to move to a less physical league abroad or something.
