Fair enough, does seem a bit odd loaning out a 26 year old unless they want to sell eventually.

Why has it got pretty much no chance of turning permanent? He is 26 and they have sent him straight out on loan plus they have big money problems. Havent they just signed him this summer and loaning him straight out?

Thats a pretty much bollocks tbh. Even if Keegan does prefer Milner on the wing to N'Zogbia, he's not going to keep playing the same player every single game regardless of form, not to mention injuries. He'll get his share of games and it will be up to him to keep his place/takes his chance when he gets it.

Given was back to his usual self yesterday. Harper has probably had a major part in Given upping his game. Either that or Given's just finally gotten over his injuries. My only gripe with Given yesterday (and this is something I dunno if he will ever change) was that we were trying to build on our play and retain posession and when the ball was played back to Given, he just kicked it up field and the posession just went straight back to the opposition.

This season is a very big season for Taylor tbf. He's (hopefully) got a top partner next to him, and it could bring him on a lot. There wont be any excuses after this year.
