Managers like Allardyce and Pulis have an appeal within a remit, at least to owners, with the remit being it's almost certain a relegation threatened club will be less likely to go down. It's easy to see the players as championship standard when they are so disorganised, off form and without confidence. We have enough on-pitch ability to finish a season in a comfortable season... with a competent manager.
