  1. I really dislike this whole "hasn't been able to step up" label pinned on Almiron. He's more often than not the only mobile creative player on the pitch for us and therefore will be targeted by the opposition. It's no surprise that his productivity dramatically improves when there are other attacking options around him for the opposition to worry about.
  2. Reasonably pleasant half, but we've looked very loose at the back and thankfully Southampton have gifted us some goals. I hate to say it about a young player but Lewis really is poor. He needs to improve significantly if he wants a career at this level, even when considering the poor manager.

We will give you £nnnnnn signing on bonus if you say...
  4. If Rafa had us turn in that Palace performance and result we'd rightfully be praising a very good, professional away win. We were lost of ideas from about the 60th minute as they were too organised for us.
  5. Infuriatingly slow in our play. Palace parked the bus second half and were too good for us to break down. They deserved their win as the executed their plan better than we did. Far better.
  6. That was a big miss for Fulham.

I didn't think it was a foul either, he got to the ball first and his foot didn't look high. He can be quite a smart player when he's on the ball. He's got a reasonably low centre of gravity and can turn quite sharply and often backs himself to do so.
  8. Fulham look like they'll win this comfortably.
  9. We do seem to get the better of Pickford a lot.
  10. I think he's clever in that he's active on social media, he clearly garners the thoughts of supporters and relays them on BT sport. I've heard him doing it with other teams too. Its a simple and obvious formula. A breath of fresh air in comparison to fucking moron pundits who consistently tell the fans, who watch their team every week that theyre wrong. Or better yet, trot out stupid, tired cliches. If you can't be clued up on the inner workings of every club then at least push the agenda of the common fan consensus rather than that of the manager's mates.
  11. What's next then. I literally want to watch all the football when we win
  12. I was just wondering, is he this way with all clubs or does he have a soft spot for us? One of the few presenters that seems to go out of his way not to tow the cliché line at every opportunity.
  13. The effort from all 11 players was superb, and the confidence started to return once we got the goal. On another note, Lewis has far more in him than he's shown. He's an attacking fullback that hasn't been used to any of his strengths all season.
  14. Yep, even though the bar is incredibly low, it was simply a good performance.
  15. Very good result and performance. I think we're at the stage now where there's no way Bruce stays on following any takeover, so I just want us to win games so that we stay up.
  16. I suppose we should enjoy this feeling of not watching absolute shite for the next 10 minutes or so because it's highly likely Everton step it up second half and we lose
  17. Expecting Bruce to be absolved of any blame and the players questioned for not performing this way before now.
  18. This does underline just how woeful Bruce is. He's getting so little out of a competent squad to the point that perception is that it's a poor squad. It really isn't - we have weak areas, but we shouldn't be struggling at all.
  19. Almiron's footwork to adapt to his second option is really impressive.
