Perfect result really, a goal from all of our strikers, a decent performance and a clean sheet. The thing that made me smile the most was how they all seem to be playing for each other, it seems like they are actually mates and not just working with each other. The celebrations for the first 2 goals showed that, the weird dance by Faye and Martins was sad as hell but equally funny to see, and Beye picking Owen up was hilarious. He assisted Viduka as well, wonder why he didnt do the same to him

When he was still our most productive attacking midfielder by quite a margin. That is just simply not true. By the time he left us he either had no abililty to take on and beat his man or just couldnt be arsed, he was shite in his last season for us.

Our 4-3-3 is more 1 off of 2 strikers rather than 2 off of 1 which Allardyce was playing, which was in effect 2 wingers off 1 striker. I dont particularly think Owen is playing behind the 2; Martins and Owen seem to switch, but it looks like on most occassions we are keeping 2 up at all times. ... if that makes sense!

Geremi 3?? fuckin hell mate! Would have been more if any of his corners had been better than "utter shite". We really really needed better delivery. I barely recall him losing the ball and was in fact quite useful in posession. His first few deliverys werent bad but I admit quite a few were poor after.

I wouldnt say it was particularly cagey overall, but you could tell no1 wanted to do anything stupid from about the 80th.

Geremi had a good game, didnt look overly slow, and in all honesty i can understand why he didnt make any changes when we were on top at the risk of fucking things up.

So we do have some bollocks! Owen, Martins, Geremi and Enrique played very well 2nd half. Butt didnt do badly either. Barton worried me, everytime he looked like he was going to do something positive he made a stupid mistake, I was never confident when he was on the ball.

That's the point though, he's a winger, he's supposed to be pro-active and be one of the guys who makes things happen. Generally though he runs around with his head down, twists and turns a couple of times and plays a pass back to one of our CM's who end up having to play a hopeful punt forward. I'd rather he lose the ball more often and actually do something useful once in a while. I still think thats over exaggerating, he does stick some crosses in, and when he does they are normally better than anyone elses. Dont get me wrong im not saying hes played well, but hes done the simple things and tried to play football and not give the ball away. Theres a good half of the team at least playing worse than him. N'Zogbia hasnt exactly done enough to keep Duff out recently either, he goes missing far too much.
