Usually the Weatherspoons are open, such as Five Swans at Haymarket. They require you to order food to get a beer, no big deal to get a bacon sandwich or something.... Also The Centurion in Central generally opens early and again you would need to order food. The breakfast stuff in Centurion is of considerable higher standard than the Weatherspoon muck!

Reading this thread is nuts. It is like an oscillator with waves of optimism and common sense followed by doom, gloom and despair. on repeat.... We were well beaten, cannot take that away from Barcelona, they held us while we were playing well for the first half and some of the second. Then when we ran out of steam they pounced. There were some terrible individual errors from our tallest centre back in terms of positioning but, it's done now. In the competition as a whole we have done great. Only beaten by two teams, Marseille and Barcelona. Progressed to the Round of 16 for the first time in NUFC history. We are simply not equipped to compete at this level yet, potentially we never will be but, we have defied the odds and we should be incredibly proud of what we have achieved. It is really hard to look forward to a local derby match because the memories of their recent run of success is engrained deep in most of us. But, we have to look forward to it. The final 8 games of the season will define our summer transfer policy, if we have a European competition then we can attract a higher calibre of player than if we do not. I think the current team is perfectly capable of winning the Conference and maybe even the Europa League. Howay!!

I like to play 5 a side. I play twice a week but, I am 60 and not all that good. Gordon on the Left Osula on the right Woltermade in the middle Could be the solution to all of our recent mediocraty.

What I did not realise until I watched the goal again (multiple times) this morning was that Osula was the player that won the ball on the edge of our penalty box and layed it off to Trippier before setting off on his majestic run down the right. Will be surprised if this is not Goal of the Month for March.

My opinion, he is our penalty taker. No discussion whether we are 10 nil up and he scored them all. If we get a penalty he takes it. Each of his two penalties last night were outstanding, perfectly executed. He was right to stand his ground and take the second one.
