It's quite funny how much Fabrizio Romano has gone down in the rating amongst some of us on this forum....
  2. Really? Then I double down on my point... I am amazed that their case is still running without any conclusion. Perhaps the Qatar Owners lawyers are doing exactly what I suggested ours should do and just keep the Premier League busy and tied up in knots...
  3. I am absolutely astonished that the 115 charges that Man City were found guilty of (what ever the heck they were) are still sitting without a conclusion. They must be pretty certain that it is going to be just fine for them considering that they are continuing as normal. I wonder why our owners don't just simply go ahead and do whatever they want, sign players at whatever they cost and provide the correct level of salary. Then when the Premier League Lawyers come knocking for all the rule breaches just keep them tied up with legal tape for as long as it takes... clearly what Man City are doing... There is no sign that the 115 charges saga is coming to any sort of conclusion any time soon.
  4. Hmm, yes I was referring to incoming deals. I was not suggesting that we should really employ a sense of urgency though, just once we identify the player we want we should just get the deal done. That should be pretty simple, it is for most other clubs it would seem. James Trafford deal as a prime example... I think we are up to 12 months now. I realise that some of that is us and some of that is Burnley but, if we want him.. Just bloody buy him. It was also not that serious a comment, I doubt there would be a role for a deal expeditor....

It's OK... they are aware that they have to adjust because of the AFCON. They simply reset their expectation from title contenders to European qualification....
  6. Can we employ someone to add a sense of urgency and speed to completing transfer deals? That would be a role that I would get right behind!!
  7. His name fits quite well into the LaBamba song La-la-la-la Elanga ....

Fair enough, I just thought you must have challenged him to a duel or something and he declined....

Honest question. Why do you keep saying Teddy is a coward?

London City Airport is 9 miles from a central location such as Leicester Square Newcastle Airport is 6 miles from Greys Monument, a similarly located central location. Whereas Newcastle Airport is ~22 miles away from Jackie Whites Market, the most famous centrally located location in Fancy Sun'lun. I think we can be quite justified to consider the name "Newcastle Airport" to accurately reflect its location.

No disrespect to the people of Wolverhampton at all... I was mainly around the Rail Station area and I can honestly say that it did not feel like I was surrounded by salt of the earth type characters.... I suppose you could say that about the areas of many UK (and European) cities surrounding the main railway station though.... After dark it was actually quite scary....

I had the incredible misfortune to have to go to Wolverhampton at the weekend just past. I would put that hell forgotten place up as being a step behind Sun'lun is the shittest place to be ever known to mankind! Holy shit is was bleak!

  16. Don't think he wants it... chose the number 14 in homage to his childhood hero....

Yeah, just took a look and it isn't banned persay. Premier League Clubs collectively agreed to stop using Sports Betting Companies as Front of Shirt sponsors by the end of the 25/26 season. So the end of this upcoming season. You would expect that clubs generally are looking at exiting such arrangements by now though, not actively starting one!

I really thought that Sports Betting Companies had been banned from front of shirt sponsorship. Must have got that one wrong. The club of high class and moral standing must know better.

Well if they sold more tickets then that's it... we must accept the inevitable that they are coming to the Premier League and probably will stay up forever.

Presumably there will be mass protests, Seyusen Cards thrown away and abject despair at such news!

"Give them a little bit of ENCERREGMENT" How can a North East accent from a City (town) just a few miles down the road from us be so rotten to listen to?

This just made me laugh, in a thread explaining why they shouldn't worry about being rubbish in the last 5 games the opening post shared an insight about how PSG have just made it to the final of the Champions League: "Look at Paris St Germain, for example. They won the title and went unbeaten all season. But as they started to prepare the (Champions League) semi-final, they lost two games in a row. Now they're comfortable through to final."
