Why's it taken so long to start sweeping forward like Newcastle United teams should do every week at St James Park.
-
We lack any focal point up top and therefore look ridiculously aimless going forward.

De Jong never looks up to the pace of the game

Fucking grim to the nth degree this.

Giving Gomes catching practice ffs.

DM= holding midfielder I would've thought Triggs, these people just enjoy quoting me. I'm glad you realise it just makes them look idiotic. TCD is straight up awesome. Autocorrect makes it hard for me to type the word "awful" too.

Three Lions regular? Plays more like a Three Bull's Heads regular.

He did manage the pair together at Spurs.

For topicality you should've offered him a yank.

As a footballer yes, as a striker,no. Correct me if I'm wrong but Wiki suggests Rooney's scored more goals than Lineker managed. Can't be that much difference if any at all in Lineker's favour. For England, Rooney has scored 2 more in 22 more games. In all games Lineker scored 330 in just over 600 games, that goals per game ratio is far higher than Rooney.

As a striker, you'd pick Gary Lineker ahead of Wayne Rooney 100% of the time. That isn't saying Rooney isn't the better player, he is.

Maybe it's just quicker to say gegenpress. I'm not really understanding the reaction to TCD on this one. Unless it's an accumulation of things that maybe have got on peoples tits. It's his nepolastic resozzleation of crantinary sordilangs.

Ralph Milne, former Dundee United and Manchester United left winger has died aged 54. I remember him at Charlton before Taggart signed him back when they were shit. Taggart hadn't cleared out the renowned pissheads by this time, the only successful signing he'd made for them by then was Brian McClair, and Milne, as I remember was distinctly mediocre for them. Still, 54 is no age. RIP.

I started the game hoping Wales would win. Then Barry Horne started commentating. Now I'm singing Hava Negila.

Bit ridiculous to pick all the best players Lineker played with and comparing them to some of the shittest Rooney has had to. May as well say Rooney has had Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard whereas Lineker had Steve Hodge, Carlton Palmer and Andy Sinton. Not having Steve Hodge in that list of shite like. He was excellent for England in his brief International career, specifically at Mexico 86, when his call up along with Peter Reid at the expense of suspended crab Wilkins and crock Bryan Robson coincided with our surge to the quarters, which had seemed impossible after losing to Portugal and only drawing with Morocco when Wilkins got sent off for throwing the ball at the ref.

Wayne Rooney would've been served better by playing the same centre forward role he showed so much promise doing in 2003-4. Taggart converted him to a deeper lying forward to England's detriment but Manchester United's gain.

Ah the Italian Replenishment Alliance. Never surrender to those bastards.

Theo should have a hat trick.

Kane and Vardy as a front pair. We've never had it so good.

Here comes Kane to shoot a lot.

Nonce It's a shame Lineker didn't get it really, he came within 1 goal and IIRC Graham Taylor subbed him in his last England game and he was understandably furious. Especially as we were behind in a crucial game and needed a goal desperately. Agree 100%. Reckon an injury free Shearer pisses this record incidentally.
