  1. I can see a situation where he ends up at Norwich before the New Year.
  2. This historical sex abuse of footballers, seemingly all in the North West in the 80s is a bit grim to say the least. We can only hope that those concerned get to see justice, now they've been brave enough to bring it into the open.

I used to make an effort to watch at least 2 or 3 games a year home or away from Cov before Hughton was sacked, think I've been two or three total since then. Not all of that is down to the club, though most is, my change in circumstances becoming a weekend Father is a massive factor too, though now I do see a time when I bring my lad to the game, as long as Rafa and the positive vibes remain. I haven't bought a shirt since Hughton was in charge neither. At the very least now, I do try and watch us on the telly when we're on either live or highlights, whereas I've watched MOTD about four times in five years. MOTD has been a staple part of my life since I was 5 or 6 and I'm certain not all of that blame can be put at Newcastle United's door, a major part though certainly. It's my perception that product football ain't what it was, period. Though pointedly, an entertaining and moderately successful Newcastle side would and indeed is, going some way to fix that.
  4. Pardew for USA. Not sure he'd take the step down, you know what Paedews ego is like.[emoji12]
  5. Completely won me over. He's a bloody good footballer not only a defender.
  6. That useless cunt once appeared in an England shirt in a World Cup ffs
  7. He's fucken miles away! Why do you swear like a Scots/Irish/Scouser ?
  8. Spend a oner and you get a spot on the bench.

Poor from Stones that. Spoilt a good game for him.

Why should Clyne be in front of Walker? Because he's quite a bit better at defending and isn't a monumental cunt.

Oh and Eric Dier has been very good tonight also.

I think Lingard has been quite bright , contrary to some. Clyne should be the first choice right back and Stones has been excellent, I suppose playing Spain would be an incentive for him to concentrate like.

  14. You're not a copper in Staffordshire with a dislike of ex Villa players are you?

I think this is the worst England squad in my lifetime. Even in Taylor's time we had the likes of Gazza and clear good futures for the likes of Shearer, Ince etc. Now we have no real International quality anywhere on the pitch. Severely lacking at centre half, adequate at full back and no creativity in the middle of the park. Not good.
  16. I enjoyed this story that a Villa supporting FB pal posted earlier. Quite a topical one too being as we are in Remembrance weekend. http://7500toholte.sbnation.com/2016/11/11/13565000/aston-villa-tom-barber-remembrance-day-world-war-1-wwi-veterans-day-17th-middlesex

Actually felt for Rooney this half. He's been missed making terrific runs by Sterling more than once.
