Spurs was horrific inside the concourse when I went - packed shoulder to shoulder in a massive scrum. Actually felt dangerous. I didn’t know where I was going though, so maybe you can learn the ways. They serve nice beer (Beavertown etc) but I didn’t notice it being particularly easy to get one.

Hopefully we’ll do a bit of both, especially if our ambition is not to just be another Brighton. We need a pipeline of players but we might also want to get someone to take us a leap forward at times. The purpose can’t just be churn cheap players to help the club survive, it must be to generate income so we can progress the club.

No it’s not, I’m just saying I don’t see anything that Longstaff could be doing that Tonali isn’t that is going to lead to more wins. It’s correlation but IMO it’s not causation.

Because Longstaff isn’t the reason we win more. It’s a coincidence basically.

Yeah but it would be crazy to change the midfield so soon, especially to take out a guy who’s just started playing for us basically. I’d be very disappointed if he decides we will win more with Longstaff in instead of Tonali. That would be concerning.

Don’t really expect us to be signing first team players at the top of their game from other PL clubs. He’s good though.

FWIW I’m fairly sure this conversation is not actually being had. There’s a reason one of our big signings was a Longstaff replacement.

I don’t dislike him, I posted earlier about how much I respect lots of things about him. But Tonali is 10 times the player and we look significantly better when he’s in.

I really don’t get how the club aren’t just free to sell the kits to whoever they want. You can hardly argue 2 outlets is a monopoly but 3 isn’t.
