I just don't think most people know that the silence is meant to start after the last post. It's human nature to respond when the music stops. I suppose the last post before silence is technically correct, but at football is might be better to have the silence first and end with the music.

Feel sorry for the amount of stick he gets at the match. He literally takes his first touch and people are telling him what to do before he's even moved Looked tentative again, some bad passes because he was scared of making a mistake. But also a couple of good runs. I didn't watch him in detail at Forest so I don't know how he had joy before, but I don't know if his impact is going to be by dribbling past people or not. Doesn't seem like he really has that in him, so fans might need to stop asking for it.

One catch towards the end was really shaky but not major. Not sure how the ball stayed in play when he made that save down to his left, might've just been bad luck. Must've hid the top of his arm/hand and popped straight up.

He tried a couple of runs last night which was something that he did a lot on his highlights before signing. With shooting, I think one factor is that he's too clever to just blast the ball into a defender, so if he thinks the shot will be blocked he'll try to take another touch or move. Where some players would just be happy to get a shot off and see it blocked.

I actually thought it was bad for us that he was playing so deep (CB?) because he's better than their real defenders.

His reading of the game and the game situation is unbelievable. It's not just running around, it's the fact that he knows exactly when that extra effort is needed to bail someone out, close down some space or whatever. Such a clever player.

Aye, I actually don't know if the game was officially stopped or if the players just decided to wait. Stopping a PL game to tie laces is a bit silly.
