I was confused by the choice of words, not the message obviously. Is it from a song? Personally I would probably have gone for the trophy and year etc more than that specific text, but I know more knowledgable fans than me or older fans will have loved it.

Yeah there’s a lot to this. Optimistic view is that the fans respond to what the team needs and know when they need to lift things. Comfortable games like last night are never going to produce legendary atmospheres. Would like a better base level of noise at 0-0 and 1-0 mind.

Fair point actually, I guess a lot of people don’t actually know what result we need in these games. I honestly didn’t even know what the table looked like. We want a win obviously, but it does feel more like a league game than a crunch cup tie.

It's probably his lack of physicality and relatively lightweight style of play. Can see him being bossed around and really struggling at CF, even though his eye for goal is superb. Playing him with Woltemade could potentially work mind, if we didn't live in 433 world.

Agree, another problem is that with Burn at LB it's not fluid down the left at times either. I've gone from a hater to a fan of Murphy but he still really worries me at times. Try not to focus on his errors though, his contributions have become vital to us.

Poor except for a few moments, possibly because the game itself was quite easy. The speed of songs is a critical issue though, they’re just so fast that they run out of steam and people can’t keep up. Take off 25bpm and it would make a lot of difference.

I really don’t think I’ve seen someone so comfortable pulling the trigger and finishing. As natural to him as breathing. I think in a different era he might’ve been a second striker and not a wide player at all.

He’s very effective and is being used perfectly. Still prone to some fairly inexplicable mistakes at times, but can’t deny he makes his impact.

Benfica’s approach was totally wrong, maybe they don’t have the players for another way. As good as we played, they were so passive and easy to play against. I feel it’s a myth our weakness is low blocks. Our weakness is teams who press us and play fast and dynamic football.

He was monstrous tonight, absolutely unplayable. If he put it together regularly we’re talking about one of the best forwards anywhere.

Wish Gordon had reversed the pass to him at the end, but Barnes scored so OK I guess. Love Nick.

I'm sorry I made you type all that again. I know there are lots of issues with tickets and their communication is generally bad. I just thought the extra tickets to ballot winners thing made perfect sense, especially in the environment where bots and touts were going ham on Barca tickets.
