Newcastle United vs. Arsenal: 28/09/25 @ 16:30 (Sky Sports)

Top 6 of La Liga maybe? -
I miss the annoyance when your ticket hadn’t arrived the day before the match.
-
I don’t think many strikers in the PL play just in the box. Let’s just enjoy him.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
AyeDubbleYoo replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I do think Ramsdale would be better on balance in most games, but I like Pope and get why he won’t be dropped. -
I thought he was good against Barcelona as well and we were worse when he want off. Watched him very closely and his ability to move laterally and cover spaces when defending was really important to us.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

Great post, I loved watching him last night. Also without the ball, you could see he's been watching the way Tonali plays and was looking to accelerate early to get in positions to defend well. Hopefully we can learn to pass through the lines against better teams like we did last night, it was the most noticeable thing we were working on IMO. -
All true, if not the point I was discussing.
-
Yeah, the one for the second Osula goal was mint, I was thinking he didn't have time to take the extra step and play it, suddenly it's away.
-
But he's played nearly 3 times as many games at CF as anywhere else overall, the next is second striker. And he's over a goal every other game when playing CF. It's just as bit annoying when people say he doesn't look like a striker, when what we really mean is he doesn't look like the type of striker we expect.
-
We were clearly trying to pass through the lines of midfield more yesterday, biggest thing we don't do in most league games. Just a bit more risky than passes we're prepared to play in the PL.
-
I don't think he needed any more rest. A nice jog around against Bradford with loads of touches on the ball would be much better for him.

Love him doing well, such a class lad. He has a lot about his game too, I really think he's dangerous. TBH wouldn't be entirely against starting him wide in some PL games when needed. -
Obviously Kudus is more technically talented but I guess we look at a range of things beyond that as well.
-
Haven't been 'that' impressed with him yet but I will say he does take good options, so if he can't beat his man at least he retains the ball most of the time. More time and more time with Woltemade needed.
-
I thought his main position has always been striker.
-
He's executing lots of shots which is great, think he just needs something to go in and it will give him a boost.
-
It's class having someone in the team who just wants to get on the ball and have fun with it. Should be a force multiplier for everyone around him hopefully.

He was really good, he was also covering ground on defence really well and challenging for headers. For his age and position it's very promising. -
Same, most enjoyable game I've been to for ages. Loved how we were clearly using at as a practice passing through the lines and trying to be more progressive through midfield as well. Obviously poor opposition but good training instead of just pushing the ball wide all the time. Super pleased for Osula as well, and Miley had a great game.

Going to the match with someone else is a distant dream these days.
