  1. True but I still think there are enough competitions and different profiles of player that he could be used well. A sale/loan with solid buyback option would've been OK, I guess that's why it didn't happen in the end.
  2. Yeah, the only way we should be selling or loaning him is if we have the option to get him back. Giving power to the buying club would be pointless.
  3. I know I say this all the time and it's utter woke nonsense, but this is the time for us to relax and enjoy NUFC and everyone who plays for us. Everyone from top to bottom is trying to be the best they can and some of them are actually good. Strange from someone with multiple daily forum posts I know
  4. He'll feast off the Woltemade layoffs.
  5. I love the recognition but I find it weird we tried to sell him. I guess it would've only been with a buyback clause.
  6. I miss the annoyance when your ticket hadn’t arrived the day before the match.
  7. I don’t think many strikers in the PL play just in the box. Let’s just enjoy him.
  8. I do think Ramsdale would be better on balance in most games, but I like Pope and get why he won’t be dropped.
  9. I thought he was good against Barcelona as well and we were worse when he want off. Watched him very closely and his ability to move laterally and cover spaces when defending was really important to us.
  10. Great post, I loved watching him last night. Also without the ball, you could see he's been watching the way Tonali plays and was looking to accelerate early to get in positions to defend well. Hopefully we can learn to pass through the lines against better teams like we did last night, it was the most noticeable thing we were working on IMO.
  11. All true, if not the point I was discussing.
  12. Yeah, the one for the second Osula goal was mint, I was thinking he didn't have time to take the extra step and play it, suddenly it's away.
  13. But he's played nearly 3 times as many games at CF as anywhere else overall, the next is second striker. And he's over a goal every other game when playing CF. It's just as bit annoying when people say he doesn't look like a striker, when what we really mean is he doesn't look like the type of striker we expect.
  14. We were clearly trying to pass through the lines of midfield more yesterday, biggest thing we don't do in most league games. Just a bit more risky than passes we're prepared to play in the PL.
  15. I don't think he needed any more rest. A nice jog around against Bradford with loads of touches on the ball would be much better for him.
  16. Love him doing well, such a class lad. He has a lot about his game too, I really think he's dangerous. TBH wouldn't be entirely against starting him wide in some PL games when needed.
  17. Obviously Kudus is more technically talented but I guess we look at a range of things beyond that as well.
  18. Haven't been 'that' impressed with him yet but I will say he does take good options, so if he can't beat his man at least he retains the ball most of the time. More time and more time with Woltemade needed.
  19. I thought his main position has always been striker.
  20. Couldn't get two seats together or even in the same section, demand was very high for this kind of match. Cheap as well of course.
