Tall people can be amazingly skilled, I should know.

Reminded me of Busquets where he uses the body feint to make people go to block a pass or header that he's never going to make. Great skill.

We made one mistake which we don't even know was a mistake, FFS.

Not too bad I guess, gutting to lose him but Hall is top drawer.

Never change -
I literally couldn't be less concerned about what Liverpool fans think, about our club or theirs.

I think most people would feel bad about doing a shit job and struggling at their new job like. Actually the fact you’ve had a massive pay rise might make it even worse. Of course he has the underlying comfort that’s he’s rich and can’t be sacked. But it’s all relative. Obvs it’s not really at the point where the non-online world will be saying he’s doing badly. It’s very early days.

Yeah, I was very encouraged by Bradford as almost an extended training session, something good to work on. But I never expected us to immediately be able to play that style against Arsenal.
-
Have to admit a small part of my brain was worried that he might do well at Blackpool. Silly I know.

Mad that Woltemade has played so few minutes, been good and scored goals, and people are debating whether he fits. People just love to give opinions when there really is nothing to talk about.
-
Not to mention he’s terrible at football.
-
They just shouldn’t ask the on-field ref at all. Either have constant communication like rugby, or just make the VAR able to correct any mistakes.

I think I’d rather have no handball than have a handball for every contact. With you on the shirt pulling though

Always hard to know exactly what we're aiming for in terms of a good atmosphere. Personally I don't think it's a disaster to have some quiet moments as long as the crowd understand what the players need and when they need it. That's better than a constant drone of noise that's unrelated to the game.

I definitely think we have potential in that area for sure. The front 3 of Gordon/Walt/Elanga also are very good at retaining the ball. Admittedly Gordon has had some brain farts recently but in general good. I wonder if it's because of the amount of work we put in off the ball, not sure. This is why I enjoyed the Bradford game so much, just not sure if we have the ability to execute a passing style like that against better sides. Certainly we would need to consider taking Murphy and Pope out and possibly Gordon if he can't find his best form.

I had an interesting experience being in the Strawberry Corner for Arsenal. Of course it was louder than anywhere else in the ground but I wouldn't say that the profile of fans is really any different to most other areas. So either it's the reputation of the area or the safe standing, or a bit of both. Just saying really that other places in the ground have potential to be noisy if the circumstances were right. I think most people want to make noise to some extent.

I don't know anything about these lads except I've heard they're in great form. Will be pleasantly surprised if we win comfortably. -
Agree but I can understand why Murphy played v Arsenal. We might have thought we wouldn't get much ball and a cross onto Nick's head was our best chance of a goal.

How would Shearer be virtue signalling if he was ignoring human rights violations? Actually don’t answer that

Feel like we’ll be in much better shape after the break. It’ll be reet.
