I really don't think he can be that bad like, he's a Greek international and was at least on the books of a PL club before he came here. Not saying we should play him obviously, but I think it's funny how we consider him the worst player ever or something

Not really, think it's more likely they grant permission for a private project on the grounds that we pay for some public improvements. I think that happens a fair bit in planning, like a new shopping centre will help to pay for the surrounding roads etc.

Even if it is nepotism, he might still be decent at his actual job. And his actual job is probably nowhere near what he’s currently being asked to do. I don’t like how it looks but at the end of the day Andy Howe should really be a relatively minor member of staff and it shouldn’t matter either way.

It’s a decent signing in isolation, the problem would be the issue of replacing Isak with someone much worse. I know there will be a step down whoever we sign, but at least a name like Sesko would’ve made it look more like a sideways move.

It possible the agent used the off season and the tour to make his move, now we’re back Isak is also getting another view from Eddie and the club. Wishful thinking maybe but we’ll see when the next set of leaks happen.
