Plenty of clubs have tried to replace a top shot stopper with a footballing keeper and caused chaos. We need to do it but it absolutely has to be the right player. Given how good Pope is currently we need to really make sure.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

It's ridiculously quick how he's gone from promising youngster, to flop, to one of the most expensive strikers in the world. -

Doesn’t really matter either way TBH, we could never get close to that Liverpool deal. -
I think the kit is OK if you’re buying like one item every two years or something. Feel bad for the people who have to kit out a couple of kids twice a season though.
-
I think Chelsea have enough funds to outspend us anyway TBH

Chalobah is good like. Betting on Fofana seems mental though.

Don't think this qualifies for a transfer bath. Hold your horses.

Still not confident things will click for Man Utd like, but they're trying I guess.
-
Hold on, has he not left Blackpool yet? Wow

Worryingly high quality posting here @Kooiman

What I was getting at is, why does it reflect so badly on the window if we sign Wissa?
-
We really can't have it both ways though, can we? We can't seem to complete for players like Ekitike and Pedro because they're wanted by other clubs with more money. What would you do?
-
The guy is top drawer, might be talking about him as our best signing if he hadn’t done his knee.
-
He’s a good striker IMO, especially given he can also run and play wide. Given his age and other options he might also be OK with rotation. We will see but I’d be relatively happy to get him. Not Ekitike levels of hype, but a good signing.
-
Hmm, not sure. Couldn’t you argue we missed out on Ekitike and had a solid backup option?
-
I always go for the cheapest sections like Leazes corner, can’t remember the price for these games there last year. Nearly £60 for a football match is a lot though, if I don’t win in the ballot I’d probably need a good transfer window and Isak firing to buy a general sale ticket.
-
He can play wide as well of course.
-
I personally like Wissa because he’s smart and has a nose for being in the right places to score. Not an exciting signing but it’s more the type of player I was expecting if we keep Isak. I’d definitely rather have Isak and Wissa than Ekitike and no Isak.
-
Don’t we just need a competent striker to help take Isak minutes?
-
We need a CM now that Longstaff has gone.

It’s 5.5 working days since we signed Elanga
