This is what I don't get about people saying he's good off the ball. He's really not good off the ball except at filling some space, but he's very easy to beat and play around.

I just think his touch and link up play is good, he’s always looking to play someone else in rather than go himself. Not Pirlo or anything but I’d say linking the play is the main reason to have him in your team.

That said, I’m surprised a PL club is interested in him because I don’t believe he is really good enough to add much to them. One of those who would probably have been offloaded earlier if we hadn’t had Ashley and Bruce. I’ll watch him for Leeds with interest - I’m willing to believe I’m biased against him because his mistakes wind me up so much. Watching him for another club will be a lot more relaxing and maybe I can be more objective. Hopefully the move will be a fresh start for him and he can approach it with confidence.
