Not surprised Pardew enjoys the Pimms. Sophisticated bastard and a ladies' man. -
So many pictures could be posted in reply to this question.

He deserves this charge, but the system is stupid. Either we're using video replays to charge people or we aren't. What difference should it make whether the ref "saw" an incident (and decided it was fine BTW) or he didn't see it at all? -
Just realised they posted the clip of that racist bloke on their website.

Think I've missed Cheik more than anyone during the African cup, absolute monster of a player.
-
I thought he was going to be a good signing.
-
I suppose that's true, but we already have our first choice CB out, first and second for the last game. I just don't think you can plan your squad based on having three or four CBs missing at once. Not many squads can cope with that, nor would they be expected to. I would be happier if we signed someone else though obviously, you're right about the short-term situation.
-
We should be going out to murder these, but without any threatening forwards we might struggle to score goals again.
-
Are they not? I thought they would come to a verdict on the balance of probabilities. I don't know like, obviously. Otherwise it's very difficult to ever record a verdict in these cases, unless there's a suicide note I suppose.
-
Surely he "might" have done a lot of things, but the fact he was found hanged by his own hand suggests by far the most likely verdict is suicide? Bit confusing this one.

In what way?

I know what you mean, but I believe Coroners Inquests are always public. I may well be wrong about that though. Aye they probably are, just famous ones get the press attention. Guess they have to be for reasons of transparency etc, I just hate to see the family having to go through this in the media. Obviouslu it would be unbearable even in private, but still seems worse somehow.
-
Well you know what I mean, something private that is played out in public for the general population to digest via their TVs and newspapers. I suppose it does provide exposure for the issue of depression, which is a good think.
-
Don't see the point in this question really, obviously if that happens I'll be gutted. But unfortunately in football your signings have to be based on the players you have on your books, not just the ones that are fully fit and firing. I've never disagreed we need backup in defence FWIW, we obviously do. The difficulty is finding the right singing.
-
I half wish that this could have been done in private, I don't really see why it needs to be public entertainment. Guess it's the nature of the beast, but I still find it a bit uncomfortable.
-
Why does this case make you say that?
-
Anyway, we've proved that there is excellent value out there if you are smart enough to find it, so we should absolutely stick to that policy IMO.
-
I think with Cisse running into channels and poaching, Ba moving around and dropping deep more, and HBA and Cabaye supplying the ammo, we will be lethal. It's jizz-worthy stuff. Best attacking lineup we've had for years.
-
I don't think needs of the squad are secondary, I just think they won't buy someone unless he's good value. Value being the primary concern and the needs of the squad therefore being secondary? I'm not expecting us to spunk up millions on anyone but going into the remainder of the season with just the 2 centre halves is a huge gamble that's being made because they put driving a hard bargain above the needs of the squad. Well, sort of. The needs of the squad will be what decides which position(s) we go for, then value will decide which individual we end up with. I don't see anything wrong with that though. Obviously it would be class if we would just go out and buy a world-class CB for £15m, but we won't. You might be right that we should be flexible in some situations and pay what we need to get a player, but that's easy for a fan to say.
-
Amazing that so little has happened so far. Shows how dodgy finances are at most clubs I suppose.

True, I wouldn't complain if he was banned, totally his own fault. -
FWIW I brought HBA into my fantasy football team and he has started 5 games since. In that time he has 3 goals and 3 assists.
-
Does that mean two of each though, since we play two CBs?
