  1. Definitely want that sketch face as a smiley, would be brilliant.
  2. I thought he looked genuine quality and energetic as well, would love to see him and Wilshere in midfield for England.
  3. From what I've seen, aye, he's class.
  4. Will be great to see him back, he's a very exciting signing IMO.
  5. Would prefer him to bring in Abeid or Guthrie.. Perch really offers nothing we would miss if you ask me.. I don't understand Pardew's love for that substitution like, it's weird.

  7. He probably should go now, before Arsenal decline further. On the subject of Wenger, I think the guy's a legend and don't like the treatment he's been getting from pundits and media. But he has made some dodgy signings (and non-signings) in recent seasons that have contributed to his current predicament.
  8. This. FWAP I agree, wish there was no such thing as the African Cup of Nations. Well not really, but you know what I mean.
  9. Out of all our attackers, it seems Cisse is by far the most suited to the main striker role. Ba is capable of playing deeper if required.
  10. I never fall foul of fixture changes because I'm disorganised and never really book far in advance. Can understand why fans are angry about this though, especially when there is distance between the clubs like Arsenal and us.
  11. At Wembley that's a small fortune TBF.
  12. Lovelo postie matie. Canny agreeo morie like Same, it's going to be a difficult signing to improve on our first-choice CBs, it would take a really great buy. For CB what we need is a capable deputy who is maybe a bit more athletic than Willocini and can deal more with the likes of Long and Johnson.
  13. We need another CB as good as Taylor really, one who can compete with him and maybe take his place. At the same time, I'm not going to complain about strengthening the squad.
  14. The acceptance that touching another player on the shirt with an arm is a foul or a penalty. It's a contact sport FFS, someone stroking your arm doesn't mean you can throw yourself to the floor and ask for a pen.
  15. Did alright this week, can't believe Kaboul didn't get an assist for Defoe's goal though. Or did he get booked to cancel it out?
  16. It's fast centre forwards we struggle against really, big ones don't seem so much of a problem. Nee idea how good this lad is though.
  17. I haven't read many people disrespecting Hughton, pretty much everyone seems to really rate him.
  18. He's not really, really slow at all. He's just slower than the fastest few strikers in the league.
  19. Putting balls across the box from wide areas is still a major way to score goals, I do worry we don't do that enough.
  20. Convinced we would have won this by three or four if Cisse and Ba were available.
  21. The problem only arises when we have too many players playing on their wrong side IMO. Three out of four wide players were on the opposite foot today. If you have a wide midfielder who can't go wide and cross, you must have a fullback who can overlap. Or vice versa. Today we were easily channelled by Fulham into the congested centre and contained. Santon looks very good though.

    Alan Pardew

Indeed. It's easy to forget given how terrible our second half performance was but our first half performance was excellent. Completely controlled the half. We were just a bit toothless up front. Change Best and Ameobi with Cisse and Ba and we'd have put them to the sword before half time. Tend to agree, he did make some errors in tactics today but Pards had limited options. If our strikers had been playing we would have hammered Fulham by four or five.
  23. I don't think many of our individual players deserve massively low marks TBH. It was that strange a game for me, I thought most of our team did OK but Jol outsmarted us tactically.
