Step off Andy, join the queue. -
There are only two or three managers in the world with big enough names to handle the situation at Man City IMO, that will be a big problem for them.

http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/10-11-ivory-coast-away-shirt.html The home shirt is on offer at £29.99. Perfect, thank you. The African unity shirt is on offer too... it's disgusting but the thought it good!

Arsenal vs Newcastle United - Sunday 7th Nov (1.30pm) live on Sky

There's no point in that attitude. We're capable of a draw here if we play well and Arsenal aren't at their best. They've had a trip to Russia and back while we've had a week off on the back of a big result. Who knows, teams do go there and win, if you catch them on an off day or the ref gives you a chance, anything can happen. Arsenal will of course be favourites but the players have to be positive and go there believing they can nick something. It will be a different game to our second string against theirs in the cup last week. I agree with all the things in our favour, and I really hope we can get something. But those extra weights on our side of the balance can only tip it so far, we're miles behind Arsenal in terms of ability. Hughton will have the lads ready to go I'm sure, but we can't put too much importance on the result of this one IMO. -
I don't think there's a much better formation option than this current one. Even if we do get well beaten, I wouldn't say it means out tactics are wrong. We all know Arsenal have a far superior team.

Aye Saturday is far better... even when you're going to the match it's nice to have it sooner and have Sunday free. -

We've got a good chance of getting a goal IMO, but obviously if Arsenal hit their groove we'll be footballingly abused. Decent situation really, as long as we don't get really hammered it should affect confidence too much. -
He's the same age as me, plenty left in the tank!
-
Money, continuity, team spirit, league points? (I haven't seen him play for ages BTW)
-
We don't have a role for Pires really, unless he wants to sit on the bench in case someone gets injured... which I doubt.
-
I know what you mean, and it's a good time to say that after thrashing Sunderland, but let's revisit this in 3 or 4 months. Anyway, we need a decent squad and Ben Arfa would be an awesome addition if he recovers.

Can't believe nobody asked him how to pronounce his first name.

If SSN was broadcast 2 hours a day, it would struggle to have enough to talk about TBH.

He is teaching us French as well, can't go wrong.

That's a possibility to be fair.

When did we play Cardiff in the cup while Ashley was owner? I'm pretty sure we did, unless I'm going mental. How do I find out these things? I thought you were talking about the semi final against Man U at the Millennium Stadium until you mentioned Ashley. I don't think we've ever faced Cardiff in the cup in recent times. Hmm, I would say it was in the Championship then, but I know that's not the case as obviously Ashley was hated by then and Michael Owen was playing. Have to get the ticket out when I get home. If Owen was playing and Ashley still a 'good owner' then you're probably talking about Coventry. KK was in charge, was August 2008 with Owen coming on and scoring the winner for us. Ah fuck, I think you're right! I must be mashing together two games in my head. Ah well, step away, nothing to see here!

Obviously a really memorable game! I did say that is wasn't about the game! Most of the stuff I've enjoyed doesn't have much to do with what happens on the pitch - I tend to miss the best games and go to Fulham away.

He certainly looks like he's fully recovered. -

Me too, appalling management and planning for the future... particularly considering we could have done without spending money and wages on a player we didn't need. The fact Zoggy hasn't gone on to sign for Barcelona or someone makes it slightly easier to accept.

I've never had any indication that Fabregas is a twat, always just admired his football. I'm just hoping that his hamstring isn't perfect and Tiote can make a light snack out of him on Sunday.
