Goal record is canny, albeit not in the prem. Think I've only seen him a couple of times, but looked a decent player.

I saw a few signs in the Fulham game that we can threaten teams again, some great touches by Smith etc, it just isn't quite clicking yet. Not sure why everyone thinks we won't turn Derby over. No reason to think we won't get a win here, looking forward to the match...

One thing we could do with is someone who can fill in for Beye when he goes to the ACN, to keep Carr on the bench. Maybe Wes Brown could come in partly for that reason.

Jason Koumas wouldn't improve our side, he was a very good championship player but hasn't hit it off in the Premiership despite playing for a very poor side, if we have aspirations of getting into Europe we must be looking at a better quality of player. Fair enough, I think he's been pretty impressive this year in the Prem despite playing for a crap team, and he could provide some forward drive to our midfield at a bargain price. Anyway, this thread was about January, sorry!
