They have to end this thing of stopping the game every time I player holds their head. Just gives cheaters like Hojberg an automatic way to stop the play whenever they want.

Jesus lads, give your heeds a shake.

Can’t see it with them signing even more Americans.

Anyone, he’s immense He could probably interchange with Bruno, or go to 4-2-3-1 and have them side by side. Jizzworthy either way TBH. Not sure we have £100m for one player quite yet though.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
AyeDubbleYoo replied to Rich's topic in Football
I don’t think we necessarily need a massive elite squad to come fourth. Yesterday we almost won with Gordon on the bench and without Bruno and Isak. Three top players to come in. And we only have one more cup game to play. -
Funny how gender reveal is simultaneously liberal/fancy and also anti-woke (gender assigned at birth being important). It’s wrong on every level But congratulations to the Linton family.

Noticed that on MOTD, absolutely crazy. Like it’s the interviewer’s job to reassure Klopp or something. Sycophantic shite.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Thought he was fine, I would probably have taken Miggy off and left ASM on until the end. Can’t really drop him this quickly unless he really is finished here. Wouldn’t be fair to him at all. -

It’s a miracle we’re in the top 4, I wouldn’t be too gutted if we don’t maintain it. Really don’t care about specific league position as long as we’re playing well and progressing. I’ve spent too long being worried about whether we’ll finish 19th or whatever, now I’m just enjoying the ride. I still think we’ve got a good chance though, we’re really hard to beat. -
Think the point about paying for a season ticket is interesting though. I would pay for a season ticket, so would thousands of others. We just can't. Having one doesn't mean you are a better fan or anything. I presume the theory behind loads of benefits to ST holders is to sell them, but we have one of those situations where they would sell themselves hundreds of times over. Just weird is all.
-
Well not quite, I got one for myself and one for someone else who is also a member. One per person. It's class how lots of ST holders help out other people with tickets, and you're absolutely right about barren years (without debating the Ashley situation). It's always going to be a difficult topic when we have so many fans and very limited tickets, hopefully you get the point I'm making about favouring ST holders above everyone else. The discussion could go on forever, if I had hundreds of loyalty points I'd probably be arguing the other side
-
No, in fact not 100% sure why you own them
-
Well yeah, the benefit being extra tickets, the only people who can go to away games, the only people who have a chance of going to cup finals. Guess European tickets will go the same way. On top of the amazing basic benefit which is automatic access to every home game. The alternative would be to spread things out more and do it more randomly, there could be all sorts of mechanisms. If the aim was to allow more NUFC fans a fair chance to follow their club. I know this isn't how football works, but I enjoy theoretical issues like this. When you really examine it, we don't need to offer a small group of fans such a privileged position.
-
I think Pope is clearly our best-ever keeper, in my recollection anyway.
-
Why do they deserve more though? My point is that thousands of people would kill for the opportunity to buy a ST. They already have secure tickets to every home game, seems a bit unfair that they also get to monopolise everything else. I don't really see a logical argument except "that's how it normally works".
-
Technically the Saudi state are the messiahs, don’t want them on a banner though.
-
Think in future seasons we need to look into the benefits promised to ST holders. It’s already amazing to have access to every home game, not sure it should necessarily come with automatic first dibs on everything else as well. I know it’s conventional that ST holders get everything, but we’re in an environment now where demand is so high that it’s more a privilege than something the club ‘needs’, if that makes sense. We don’t need to encourage ST purchase because they would sell themselves a hundred times over. Philosophical question I know.

Maybe, yeah. Could just be random of course, but it's nice he chose a proper number instead of 87 or something.
