All true, I just don’t see someone a step up from the defenders we have coming in. Hopefully we get a CB who is around as good as Botman and can succeed Schar though.

I think RW is the only position where we’re likely to be able to achieve that. Otherwise the strategy is still the same, improve the squad so Longstaff-level players don’t have to play too much.

Always hard to assess players like Murphy since most teams have made a deliberate choice to play inverted wingers and not ask them to get to the byline and cross. Presumably if people wanted there would be loads of players like Murphy available, but they're firmly out of fashion along with the strikers that used to covert the headers. Miggy could probably do it quite easily if played on the left. I definitely want Murphy to stay in the squad though.

He has a moustache and stubble goatee in some photos, but very blond so not very heavy. Carry on

I don't really see a problem with selling them just at the start of the season like you do with season tickets. Everyone would have a chance to buy one then. And people couldn't just buy one on a whim later when they fancied seeing a glamour game.
