  1. They’re about 7-10 dives in your average PL game and 0 yellow cards. Deffo a pet hate.
  2. Yep, mad how bad they both are. Liverpool slightly better passing but overall dross.
  3. Wish Havertz had it, but he doesn’t.
  4. Both teams look very average. Dunno why Klopp isn’t persevering with Darwin, it’s not going to click for him on the bench. It’s not like they have other good options.
  5. The Gordon thread is a glitch, it needs to be purged.

    Anthony Gordon

    Sounds suspiciously NWOAT to me.
  7. Was just saying this, two very unimpressive teams.

    Anthony Gordon

Is there actually a reliable link?
  9. It did look a bit like that to me too. But I guess it's just that tense period between an outgoing and a signing.
  10. Yeah agreed, I think we are making the decisions we want.
  11. Agreed. I think any club could ignore FFP if they wanted, almost dare the authorities to do something about it later. You could probably defeat it legally if you really wanted to. I think they way we’re behaving is as much about the people and the character of our owners and PIF. They want to look good in the eyes of Europe, they are deeply professional, they don’t want to be seen to be buying success too blatantly. We’re trying to keep prices down too of course. But I think we could probably spend a lot more, more quickly, if we really chose to.
  12. Isak reminds me a bit of Cisse in terms of build and technique, although he has better movement and control etc. He is very relaxed when he strikes the ball and generates a super clean strike. If you watch slow-mo of Cisse it's like his kicking leg is tense and the rest of his body is meditating
  13. Not exactly a high bar, but I get what you're saying. He's better than not having a striker, I accept.
  14. I don't know what Forest are doing but I'm very happy about it. Wood must've been over the moon when Newcastle got in touch with release clause money and a new contract on bigger wages. Fair play for coming into a relegation battle I suppose, but it was always an amazing opportunity for him. I'll never be convinced that he did much, but I accept I might just not be tuned in to the kind of thing he adds. If someone can give me an in-depth tactical analysis I'm up for changing my mind Farewell, sweet Chris.
  15. Nah, we can't. Seems like Isak is firmly a central player if they're letting Wood go, and now we'll bring in someone versatile who can play wide, and maybe a CM as well.
  16. It's a no-brainer to get rid of Wood, we need a squad space and he doesn't offer us anything now. Very impressed with how we are managing our transfers since the takeover, pretty much flawless.
  17. Think the difficultly is the number of players we need to upgrade to play in the CL. Might have to get a couple of them now just to make it possible.
  18. Also he's not going to come to be a squad player. Probably.
  19. In my uneducated opinion he seems to focus a lot on the strike of the ball and a bit more relaxed on where he's aiming it. He always seems to strike the ball very cleanly and with decent power.
