Ideally tickets would be tied to ID so you would only buy one if you can physically go. Even then though, it would take someone a couple of of decades of being able to get a ticket to get anywhere near the top of the loyalty queue. It’s not possible to solve really.

That's how I've got any away tickets I've had, but of course I don't get any loyalty points for going in that case. So I'll never build any up, even though I'm doing the thing that is supposed to earn them.

I think the worst possible is the same 2000 people get to go to every away game. Nobody else can even earn loyalty points. I mean, I've been going to matches for 20 years and I have none Think a percentage by ballot and a percentage by loyalty might be the answer.

I really don't think it has made any difference in regards to the future. We would always be quoted crazy prices because of the Saudis, all it showed that we could act quickly and decisively when we really felt it was necessary. We only paid 25m because we had to activate the clause so they couldn't say no. It wasn't negotiation. Bad player but understandable signing and correct decision at the time. IMO.

He wins a lot of tackles, more than Longstaff for example. But he does get dribbled past more often, maybe because something to do with his ability when he's on the back foot or has to readjust. Longstaff does too. He's obviously a lot more creative than anyone we have though, crosses and expected assists etc.

The only thing I can get close to is when we went deep in the champions league with some really dodgy individual defenders. But I can’t remember how we did it, maybe with better attackers.

Does Tielemans do well in pressing and defensive stats? I can't see us signing anyone who doesn't. Edit: He does alright on tackles and interceptions, but he does get dribbled past a lot.

I think every home crowd at every PL ground is quieter than a lot of people would like. It's just what football fans are like now. SJP is great as long as you're close enough to the Gallowgate and the corner. For me the biggest problem is how fast the songs are, they don't have a chance to continue for a long time because nobody can keep up.

Seems a bit different now people would kill for season tickets at any price and tickets in general are in short supply. If you needed to persuade to buy more tickets, fair enough.

Specifically says "if your regular PL seat not purchased" above. Guess they just missed out the bit about also being able to buy an extra one. You can do that for league games IIRC? Never understood why season ticket holders get an extra seat anyway, they already have a ticket by definition.
