I don't really think this argument makes sense. It's highlighting the situation, it's getting people talking about it, it has already worked. It's saying that we acknowledge that racism is a problem and we want to bring it into the open. It's not really meant to reduce racial tension, maybe racial tension needs to increase a bit so that every group can have their voices heard. If your argument is that nothing can improve racism, then I don't quite get it.

Why is Nuno wearing a bomber jacket? This cool manager thing is very weird.

I’ve never made it through a whole Bruce video.

Tend to agree. I wish we could organise protests and make Ashley’s life unbearable, but sadly we can’t. Football fans are addicted and dependent by their nature, it’s what makes us so easy to exploit. That said, I am jealous of fan groups who are more militant. Like I’ve said before, I think there are two valid positions. “I hate Ashley and I can’t bare the lack of ambition”, or “I need to go to the match and I still enjoy the experience even though I know we aren’t aiming for anything”. Either of those are understandable.

I mean, they didn’t even score the penalty.

If you believe Ashley will never be forced out, you don’t mind that we’ll never try to progress and you just enjoy a day at the match, that’s a valid position IMO. It’s a very strange position for a sports fan to be in mind. The problem is the people who try to pretend were still a functioning football club or try to pretend there’s more to it.

There’s been very little improvement to a lot of the squads.

Not sure Almiron is a midfielder or ASM is a striker TBH.

He's probably correct, it would've been unbearable for Bruce if fans had been in.

Except we need him to continue that freakish goal record to keep us up again.

The club is pointless, one decent signing every few years doesn’t affect anything. The aim is still to just stay up with the minimum investment.
-
Good signing but not really relevant to anything.

This isn’t really a debate for the trust thread, but I think we’ve possibly written off protest too quickly. You don’t need those superfans on side, you just need a couple of thousand people willing to create disruption. I’m not convinced it would ‘work’ because ordinary people really can’t force billionaires to do business deals. But at the same time, trying to play the traditional role of a supporters trust is just nonsensical when Ashley is owner. And if anything it gives the superfans a licence to continue as if everything is fine. PS I admire people taking leadership in the trust and I don’t know what I would do. It’s an almost impossible situation for the organisation to be in.

The prontonising is the best feature.

He’s better than any of our CMs IMO, but he’s never going to carry us like Willock can.
