    Joelinton

wish they'd interviewed him and he's actually said that. nice payback to citeh for grealish/miggy.
  3. by the time we got there i think there was an audience of 2 paying any attention and she's moved onto eurodisco.

    Nick Pope

    Love his long arms.
  5. i know its they same with all modern grounds but i feel leicester has suffered more than most. since leaving filbert st they have become the most pitiful docile home crowd. artificial atmosphere pumped through the speakers. not even rousing themselves to sing when waving their flags pre kick off. at least this year there were no fucking clackers. i like their new massive tv screens at each end, mind.

    Kieran Trippier

yup, when do they do goal of the month/season, thats where the need to start.

    Kieran Trippier

won the corner for BigJow's header with that clever backheel.
  8. i feel the liverpool game came just a little too early in the season. we didnt realise how good a team we actually were. a few weeks later and we would have really gone for them and avoided that time wasting shit.
  9. miggy's goal man. bruno doing his maradona impression then spraying the ball to tripps was even better then the one-two he played a few seconds later.
  10. this year to save me from tears, i'll give it to bruno guimaraes.
  11. or Big Dan Burn with his head. either seem unlikely
  12. it was all twisted up prior to kick off and took the lads a while to get it untangled. shit happens.
  13. so glad eddie went full strength, they all definitley needed a run out together and to get some match fitness going.

    FIFA World Cup

yeah was just saying that to my kids this evening. a work of art - hewn/chiselled rather than moulded. rought gritty texture rather than smooth glossy shine. and it seems like the figures are in motion, in unbridled joy and holding up the world. beautiful.

people have to separate the populaton from the powers that run it. and in this case, MBS from everyone else. its purely racist to call saudi arabia, or even north korea or china as vile countries.
  17. who would have thought it. argentina win the world cup and its largely due to a couple of brighton and villa players!

    FIFA World Cup

controversial politically but great footballing world cup. had mates that went out and they loved the atmosphere. also loads were going to more than one game a day, so the lack of alcohol and the stadia being so close to each also really helped. ban alcohol from stadiums at all future world cups?
  19. not yet, but if i was in my 80's and we still hadnt won out, then yes.

that link thas was posted earlier https://true-faith.co.uk/board-stupid-ready-to-go-sunderland-and-newcastle-united/ i definitley think thats triggered this parsnip nonsense. also realisng some posts have serious racist undertones and are also full of hypocrisy.
  21. i'll still go back the unbelievable decision to bring on an out of form sterling (who'd just returned from a traumatic trip home) before an in form rashford and maddison. rashford and saka have been our players of the tournament yet he hauls one off whilst he's still plenty to give, an the other one barely gets 5 minutes. and of maddison he said before the tournement “He is playing as well as any of the attacking players in the country,” Southgate said. “He can offer something different.” so when we were desperate for something different chasing a game, he brings on mount and sterling. yeah, yeah, but mount good pushed over for a penalty! and none of this is with the benefit of hindsight.
  22. we really need to change our mindset. france spain germany etc etc would be pissed off at getting knocked out at the QF stage. yet we celebrate it like a glorious failure and laud the manager. thats 3 tournaments in a row where we could have done better. unfortunately no decent candidates as an alternatives to Southgate out there, unless we go foreign. i'd even take brendon rodgers.
