Liverpool may struggle if they cannot play to Brendan's system. When he was at Reading, he tried to impose the system on players who weren't comfortable with it. After he left, McDermott changed the system and things improved. Brendan inherited a good team with Swansea that could play how he wanted.

Shane Long is very quick and holds the ball up well. For his size he is good in the air and is deceptively strong. Before Christmas he was struggling for form and many Reading fans would have happily let him go. However since then his game has improved BUT sometimes his first touch is poor and what looks likes an easy chance is often missed. Cannot fault his effort or his bravery.

I want Reading as well.

I too am keeping an eye on Reading. However I 'd be very surprised if we got into the play-offs. Having said that, compared to where we were at Christmas, mid table is a surprise!!! Looking at the BET365 table though most of the division could still be relegated- strange times.

You're gutted about the equaliser!!!! Thought they'd got their normal penalty at the end but it was just outside the box. Still unbeaten in the league at home in 2010 so can't complain. Didn't get their penalty but apparantly their goal came following a foul throw- Lad had both feet off the ground leaping over the hoardings. Andy D'Urso referee. What can we expect!!!
