Yep, we have very adequate replacements. Hanley and Clark should start the next game. I have no doubt Lascelles will be a quality player but he needs to be dropped so he can get his head straight. He is still young and this type of run of form is not unusual so drop him for a bit and he will come back hungry and determined.

We seem to be less organised now than we were. It's fucking weird. I could understand sides working us out but we are actually just less well organised in defence. It is the opposite of what you expect from a Rafa side.

Townsend was clearly available and I'm sure there are more than one player for the positions we could pursue. We had a whole month and god knows how many months before to scout a nd check availability etc. It might have been Rafa's decision. He may have drawn up some targets and some wouldn't drop down leaving Townsend as the only option and they might have been asking for too much or he might not have wanted to come. We know nothing everyone needs to chill out.
