  1. Yeah I think he would have been dropped, seems like he prefers the Love Doctor.
  2. I had dream last night that we won 4-0, Duff scored twice, Viduka scored and the other was an own goal. Lets hope I'm some kind of medium.
  3. Knackered my knee yesterday, Ill be alright to play but if anyone kicks me in the knee be wary as I dont keep gloves in my keepers bag, just doorknobs.
  4. I had a dream that I met Nixon and Dave at Churchill playing fields, they were sitting on a park bench whilst I was saving shots from some random person. Weird
  5. I hate Mike Parry talks bollocks all the time, once said men who have stag do's aren't ready to get married otherwise they wouldn't need one. He's never been married himself the ugly fat f***. Constantly makes up bollocks and if someone questions him he starts talking about something else and ignores the fact he's just been owned. Honestly why would you put someone like that on.
  6. To be honest we can win this but it all rests on the team Shearer picks. He has to play 433 but Jonas has to be in there so we have some legs in midfield a midfield 3 of Guthrie Butt and Jonas would see us ok with Oba, Duke and MO up top.
  7. Training Session was just me standing in a tree trying to catch pigeons as they fly past.
  8. I don't think he does. Of course he does, he has pace, could do anything not even he knows half the time and can score from pretty much anywhere, he just doesn't do it enough. Doesn't mean it doesn't scare defenders though.
  9. Aye, I'm sure loads of clubs are in need of a non goalscoring, non chance creating midfielder. HE may not create much but what he does do is create space and worries defenders, that is just as important. It's like Oba if he doesn't score his game by your definition would be bollocks but he scares the living hell out of defenders making them drop off and leaving other players free and nearer the box.
  10. Pilko, no fear this time, don't fear injury, embrace them as a sign of your honour.
  11. I'm alright, used to play alot of 11 a side but not so much now. I'm 6'2 so Im decent in the air, not afraid to go in at peoples legs on 1 on 1's, decent reflexes, decent kicking, probably just your slightly better than average sunday league keeper tbh.
  12. Aye, he's a cunt, hate the man, so fucking smug.
  13. Wtf? It's only Boro isn't normally any bother, they seem to be treating it like the taliban football team vs the BNP team.
  14. Agree with that, particularly if Leeds don't go up. He's surely worth a shot after 34 goals in 40 appearances in the league below. I think he'd fancy it too. Aye plus I reckon he'll develop into a decent prem striker eventually, bed him in in the Championshit and try and get him to form a decent partnership with someone like Ranger or another new young striker, then when we do go up we'll have a good little strikeforce which knows how to play as a unit.
  15. Because we learn't our team selection skils from Graeme Souness. Crap no left winger, erm............. Shola you reckon you could play on the left wing despite having no pace or ability to beat a man, a crap left foot and probably right as well and also the fact you are a stiker and a crap one at that, you do have a nice collection of hats though.
  16. If we start with thsi I'd be confident of coming back up Harps Raylor Saylor Bassong Jose Jonas Butt Guthrie New New/Ranger New/Carroll I'd like to see us get Beckford if we go down.
  17. I rckon we should play this GK: The Gambling Gorilla Def: Northerngimp, Optimistic Nut, Stephen927, dinotheprehistoricgeordie Mid: Lien, Nixon, Kaizero, NewcastleRocker Fwd: dan b Pilko TGG(Me) Nixon? Optimisitc Nut Stephen927 Dinotphg Lien NewcastleRocker Gimp Dan B Kaizero Pilko
  18. Fudgymcfudgerson, we are screwed, he'll try 343 or something mental.
  19. I'd be up for this, we could play at the JJB in Royal Quays.
  20. I'd agree with that. He looks like he wants the ball and wants to try things. Definitely one of our better players last night. We struggled to find a shape last night, and the longer the game on, the more ragged we became. A lot of people have pinned their hopes on 4-3-3 with Owen in a free role, but the players didn't seem to have much confidence in it last night. Owen is good at drifting into scoring positions from deep, but he doesn't create anything for his team-mates, which is a major part of what you expect from someone in that free role. He fluffed the one chance he had, which Martins was in a position to get anyway. It's like playing with 10 men, but unlike last season, the other 10 are short of form and confidence and we're not getting away with it. My major concern at the time of Shearer's appointment was that he would stick with Owen no matter what, and unfortunately I think it's a mistake that's going to scupper what chance we had of staying up. Agree with your point about Duff. Could well be putting himself in the shop window for next season mind. Re: Owen, I'd drop him big style. I would have played Martins behind Viduka and Carroll last night. Martins playing deep, with his pace, would have pulled the Portsmouth defence completely out of shape. Owen playing there totally nullified any attacking threat we had. Not only is he low on confidence, but he is weak as a weak streak of piss and won't shoot from range. He takes a full working week to turn and his play is rushed. Shearer should listen to his own words me thinks. He says Owen isn't scoring because we're not creating much for him i.e. not creating incisive chances to put the ball on a plate for him. Well then big Al, if we're creating nowt then keep Owen off the pitch and play someone who will bust a gut to make something out of nothing. themanupstairs knows the score, why the f*** doesn't Shearer? I often wonder why we constantly have managers that don't realise the obvious. I couldn't understand why souness used to play Ameobi left wing, why all managers have played Alan Smith, why Nicky Butt has not been sold, why no-one thought a creative midfielder would be a good idea, why they rely on Viduka being fit and don't go out and sign a replacement. Managers obviously see something we don't, maybe Ashley should just appoint me as manager, I reckon I could do a decent job and just have a coach to train the players.
  21. This isthe first time I've honestly realised that we are most likely to go down, I always thought, it'll be alright we'll beat Pompey, Boro and Fulham at home, we didn't and in my opinion unless something drastic happens like Owen turning back into the player he was 8 years ago we are down.
  22. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Source. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_w-ajii0imj4/SDsn0I1gPmI/AAAAAAAAADo/gWH9c2Mjns4/s200/coca_cola_championship_logo.jpg Here we come
