Yeah, it'll take a while, at least we know/think someones (The Nigerians) have bid so thats something to go on. I can actually see this happening quite wuickly, it's not too dissimilar from the Man City sale although the media didn't really catch onto what was happening there until it was done. Shinawatra obviously desperately needed to sell and he did. Only difference I can see is Ashley will want more money than it's worth whereas Thaksin probably took less.

I'm not arsed about challenging Man City if i'm honest, I just want a bit of pride back in my club. Staying up this season and aiming to keep as many of our best players as we can is our current objective. Then we can see about this 75m. I feel the same I was just saying if it does go through you can guarantee when David Craig et al are standing outside SJP interviewing people on the dole we'll look like retards again. "Eee we ganna win the leeg nu like". People will think this is as big as man city when it's clearly not. Probably somewhere between Lerner and Whoever the hell the West Ham owner or on a par with the Mackems backing.
-
If they've transferred 200m to a lawyer already that shows they are truly serious and now it's just whether they can agree a price or someone else comes in. 75M isn't going to be enough to do challenge what Man City are planning to do when you consider we spent 50M not that long ago and look where that got us, even though we got to seventh that was pretty damn lucky and a bit of a fluke tbh.

Is Colo injured as well? Just got out of hospital, don't know what the fook is goin on.

Faith (good name ) seems too me be a quite similar person to Keegan, good motivator and coach. But how will he handle the other part of the club? that is the big question. would love him though If he takes over then i would think he would be happy with the structure. Surely everything will be agreed prior to an announcement I bet KK thought that

Capello next week when he gets sacked.

Piss off then you part time joker. -
We must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.

Yeah, I think so. KK is supposed to be a Character witness.

I expect us to appoint a first team/head coach as opposed to a manager. That way he won't get pissed off at not having full control. Most foreign clubs have a Head/1st Team coach as opposed to a manager.

WE DONT NEED NO FUCKING ASHLEY WE DONT NEED NO FUCKING WISE HEY, ASHLEY LEAVE OUR CLUB ALONE
-
Leave the protests outside the ground and support the players who will be as bewildered us would be the logical solution. please, for f***s sake listen to this, things are bad now, how bad will they be if we lose to hull? Pretty bad. The term s*** springs to mind. I guarantee if we get beat off hull our less intelligient fans will decide its a good idea to trash the Bigg Market again.

What, nowt? Or are you referring to you sig?
-
Dpends who comes in tbh. If a foreign coach comes in I expect it to take longer before the players understand his system as with Keegan his tactics are pretty simple and I can't see soemone else coming in with a similar approach as I don't think anyone else has his. If it's someone who has managed in the Premier League before I'd expect top 10 if not 13th and above.

We've just got to pretend this never happened when we play as we can't bring any of this towards the players. Back the players, make sure Ashley et al know how we feel before and after games and get over it now, somehow. This club will not end because of one man, but Ashley needs to know that you don't f*** with a nufc legend and hope the b****** f***s off and we get someone in who lets the manager do what he thinks is best. IF he doesn't f*** off then he needs to appoint a 1st team coach and not a manager. Yes he saved us from administration but I'm sure someone else would have. If it works, it works, but I just can't see it at a club like our's we need someone we can love, but also blame. -

Because he didn't expect his entire 1st team squad to be up for sale more than likely. -

Well said, this whole saga has massivley taken away from the fact that the club f***ed up majorly at the end of the transfer window, something which will become apparent with another couple of injuries. Having said that, the simple fact is that come Christmas, with a new manager settled in (assuming they aren't THAT stupid and appoint some one like Wise) then most of us will have moved on and be fully behind the team again, hoping for a European spot and a cup run. We'll back the team but Ashley and his regime has lost our(my) respect. I'll never stop supporting NUFC and I'll never boo or chant at games against Ashley because it's not fair on the team, he probably knows this and that's why he's done it (not giving KK what he wants) but I know for a fact that if alot of people didn't renew this summer, expect that to be alot worse next summer unless he invest's massively and brings in world class manager. Edit:And that's what worries me. -

It's taken me a while to get on here. I was so shocked I couldn't watch or look at anything football related. I'm no going to lie, I cried tonight when I heard the news, not just because of KK but what it means to my beloved team. Ashley, Llambias, Wise, Jimenez I don't care who is to blame but this is the worst I've felt since I can remember, we've turned from gold into s***. I was positive under Keegan that this season would be great, even if we didn't get into europe, the way we've played made me very excited, some of the best football I've seen since Bobby. It's not just that though, the only manager that's going to come in will be foreign which I don't mind but Ashley has shown his intentions, he is not going to invest significant amounts, he's bought us, and the club will have to run off it's own money and we are just a f***ing marketing arm for Sports Direct as well as a money making machine for Ashley. I've backed him until now but that's it for me, he doesn't love the toon, he just want's to be the big man and own a football club without sticking in the money. I know he's invested 250m but if you do that, take a risk, trust the man you appointed and back him to make the right decisions instead of your london based corporate machine which he didn't even back in the market either. -
I think the overwhelming logic of the system that Ashley has put in place is the main thing that will mean we come out of this with a decent result. Keegan must be able to see that Ashley is doing right for the club financially, and that the signings (whether KK's or not) have been good ones. Therefore the best resut will be a compromise, and I still think we can get that. I still thinka compromise can be reached. They would have said he was leaving by now if it was impossible and sort out the compo later. I think there's a very good chance KK will be in the dugout against Hull in fact I'd say the odds are higher than 50%. If Ashley had no room for negotiation liek I said he would be gone. Ashley is obviously willing to compromise to some extent and I'd expect KK to do the same for the good of the club.

So if the club made zero ticket sales and zero merchandising sales it wouldn't effect his 250M investment? It would ruin the club, yes , he wouldn't be ruined but I'm sure he'd like to hold onto that 250M.

U21's

Could be Everton now with kenwrights statements. Don't worry I was just joking, no-one would buy Everton. They need to move stadiums and allsorts where as we are a easy fix. Throw 500M into signings and there you go. Buy Everton you got to spend about half that on a new stadium and padlocking all of you doors and bins.
-
That's what I mean, I think the next few days are when we understand why he bought this club. If he bought it for enjoyment, having a laugh whilst still not making a loss then Keegan will get his way. If Keegan goes and the structure remains then its basically a marketing arm for his companies as well as a profit making machine.
