True but if you do the same with Faye and you'll get the same result. I'm not saying duff should play. I'm just saying it's a pointless statistic. Yes Faye is a cb and Duff should score more but Duff has had a career threatening injury this season which Zog hasn't. Ship Zog out..... He doesn't want to be here, you can tell by the way he plays. Lose the goals scored by N'Zogbia this season and we're three points worse off, do the same with Duff and we still have 38 points.

Looks decent but 18M is a bit much for someone who has had a few good games in the Prem. Marcus Stewart looked good for one season and scored a boat load. You need to see people over a period of time to judge that if once the defenders in the league get used to the way the lad plays, his threat can be nullified.

Ramage is back I know he's nowhere near fit but we could do with him at the minute. He's not the best defender in the world but he doesnt make many errors and I'd prefer him over Taylor at the moment. Him and faye would be unspectacular but solid and reliable. My f****** god. I know some people here are desperate and willing to try whatever just in case it works and saves our ass, but brother, Ramage is NOT the way to go. He is so limited it's just sad watching him. My memory of Ramage is his red hot face leaving the pitch in the first half after being terrorised by Rooney. He is so out of this league that they get. Now get yourself togehter Northern Soul! As opposed to our other cb's this season who have easily coped with the threat of rooney, ronaldo et al (faye excluded). We where better defensively when we had a back 4 of carr ramage bramble and huntingdon. Yes I realise we had a far superior midfield protecting the back 4, I'm just saying on the basis of what I've seen this season I'd pair him wth faye until things sort themselves out. Taylor thinks he's a keeper wo can't handle the ball ad Cacapa will never be a prem cb as he ca't handle the physical aspect. I know ramage is poor and I wouldn't renew his contract. I'm just trying to say at least the lad sticks to his job and does it to the best of his abilities and will give 100% and in a relegation battle, defensively, thats what you need. You on't need these types in attacking roles though (cough...Smith) Im no expert in English by no means, but isn't the term "clutching at straws" the right term to use? Anyway, that was the last memory I had of Ramage, but as others have said, he has had many other shocking games, and I can tell you one thing: He will not be better than he were before and he has been out for a long time with injury. It would be absolute suicide to put him in the team this season, or the next one regardless of which division we play in for that matter. Aye I know he' not fit etc and at the end of the day the lad would struggle to get a game for alot of teams in the prem but I can't stand seeing taylor at cb again until he sorts himself out, Cacapa is poor against strong/quick strikers( which constitute the majority of strikers in the prem) and personally would pair Beye with Faye at cb with Geremi at rightback but KK won't do that.

I think thats along the lines of what happenend when we got Ambrose. Although we didn't actually request Ipswich to release him I think the FA did.

In fairness to you its being a long time since we have seen him play so we will let you off with that!I dont think I have ever watched a match that he played in where he didnt make a complete mug of himself! I think thats a bit harsh on the lad. Ok he's a very average player but I wouldn't say he's made a mug of himself in every single game he's played. He's a lower level premiership centreback probably on a par with the likes of o'brien but Taylor has made a mug of himself pretty much all season. Taylor tries to play on the I'm a geordie card and probably tries too hard. Ramage does as he is told which is mark, tackle and head the ball...... as opposed to standing on the line 90% of the time trying to get in blocks instead of tackling the bastard whose got the ball.

Can't agree with that like. Hopefully he'll get a few goals and help keep us up though. We need him at the minute but he's simply not top class at present (not convinced he ever will be either). He's certainly good enough to stay as a squad member. If we could get him to use his pace over the last 20 mins to stretch tiring defences he'd be very handy indeed. This season he is vital though. He's the only one that will score irrespective of how the team is playing. I'm not saying he'll score every game but if he starts the rest he'll get between 4 and 6..

No 'keeper? Not a bad side but I can't see them two starting up front. oops...obviously Harper in goal. I don't think Keegans' side will look anything like this tbh. Owen will be playing for a start. It's a tricky decision re Owen but Viduka offers goals and decent hold up play and Martins compliments with his pace and also a goal threat. Viduka and Owen would be too static for me. Yeah, I wasn't having a pop at your choice or anything, just saying I don't think KK will pick that side. Smith and Owen upfront with Martins on the bench is my guess. Smith and Owen isn't working, it's pointless to keep plugging away with it. If I see Alan Smith starting again this weekend I will cry. Our front line is so predictable and toothless. We need something to spice things up a bit. I'd love to see Martins and Viduka start up front because its our best chance of scoring with our ineffective midfield not creating anything. Won't happen though Smith and Owen will start and we'll lose 2-0 provided Taylor is dropped and Enrique starts otherwise it'll be 5-0.

I got us to 4th ahead of everton on 67 they finished on 64. Liverpool where 6th and sunderland go down on 28 points and boro finish 17th on 32 points. All we have to do is win every game.

Agree but Given for Harper Why Given's been poor lately and he deserves to be dropped. He needs to realise he has to work for his place.
