Salah © here too. This is not looking like a week to remember in either format. Yeah gonna be scraping whatever possible together at this rate Liverpool 2 up and he's not been involved in any of it.

Salah as captain Klavan and Arnautovic out injured A mammoth 2 points so far

I don't watch football anymore. He's just sucked all the joy out of it. I guess this makes me a bad fan or whatever, but... nah, just not worth it. Totally agree with you. Get absolutely no joy out of watching football anymore and that is thanks to the last 10 years of watching us. Yeah I'm in the same boat. I used to love watching loads of football, be it the football league, serie a, la liga or whatever was on. Over the last 10 years it does feel like my love of football has just been beaten to a pulp and it feels like a chore to watch anything now. Too much of a reminder of what our club could be tbh.

West Brom for family reasons no doubt.

Yeah, but we have Wallsend.

Exactly. Regardless of where we are in the table, if we were more ambitious in general he'd have came here in a heartbeat.

Maybe so, but they'd be complete morons as well. All they'd have to do is look at Townsend to see how his form has gone after jumping from Rafa to Pardew. People really need to stop fooling themselves that Rafa alone will sway players. Every single other aspect of this club screams steer clear. That's going to trump it more often than not for most players. I'd imagine any professional with any ambition or common sense would, even for a loan period, want to play under a good manager. He literally said that Pardew spoke well [emoji38] As opposed to what? Coming out in the media and saying ANYONE was talking s****? Because that happens? Obviously no, but he's clearly another Townsend. Either way we'll see what good playing under Pardew does for him. Fail to see how choosing one premier league club over another because he can live at home makes him a Townsend, like. Because he's choosing to play for the same incompetent moron who the fans will have hounded out before the end of this year.

We've already lost a signing to Swansea so it can't get much worse. End of the day, anybody who would rather play for Alan Pardew and John Charver over Rafa Benitez, a Champions League and Europa League winner, is a complete and utter moron.

If it was Man City or Spurs coming in for him instead of us, do you think he'd have the same mindset? I'm not sure what point you'd be able to make even if I said he'd move to one of them. It's about pull factors and what's more important to each person. If we were even remotely ambitious, he'd have picked us regardless of where his family is and our current league position.
-
If it was Man City or Spurs coming in for him instead of us, do you think he'd have the same mindset? Aye but it wasn't Man City or Spurs in for him. It was us. I'm being hypothetical No way is he choosing West Brom, even for a loan, if it was someone higher up the table than us. He had a choice. West Brom or Newcastle. West Brom are an established PL club. We aren't. I can see why he'd choose them. Personally I don't believe for a minute we'd have been prepared to pay the loan fee or his 100k a week wages but there you go. We wouldn't even pay a tenth of that. Point is as it's been said, we're not really at a higher level than a West Brom right now, but if a higher placed club came in with an offer of first team football, he'd go there instead. It's not exactly like he's their Shearer.

He thinks we were all born yesterday

Eh? What did I miss? He said, Ashley invested a quarter of a million pounds and doesn't have endless money, along those lines, we should be grateful for it was the implication. It's like the last 10 years of lies , s*** and two relegations are irrelevant. Almost every pundit on Sky or BBC spouts tired cliches without actually doing any research, it's ridiculous man.

Jenas: He was well within his right to go down. Diving advocating wankers.

Teams like ours don't 'let' players like Aguero do that though, they're just vastly superior and know how to work it so it looks that way. Honestly I think they do. Our players don't have the same fitness levels of those at a Man City and it's rare you see our players closing anyone down. Our players for years have tended to back off and try to read where the opponent is going so they can stick a foot out instead.

f*** off. He's lovably chubby, whereas Ashley is sickeningly obese.
