  1. Glad she gave that interview and we finally know the truth about what has gone on, though the thought of what might have been was absolutely gutting to read. I 100% am inclined to believe her take on everything over Mike Ashley every day of the week. As he's been proven to do time and time again, he's fed the media with a bucket full of lies, which has then been passed down to us. Mike Ashley is the lowest form of scum and I seriously hope he loses every penny of whatever fortune he has, whether he's the owner of the club or not. He absolutely has to get his comeuppance one of these days. Now we're left just having to hope and pray that Amanda Staveley and PCP come in with a new bid and don't give up on us just yet. We seriously need this to happen.
  2. That game was absolutely delicious. Hope we get that ref when we play them
  3. Total cunty slimebag. Looks like someone activated DK mode from Goldeneye. I wouldn't expect Bellendamy to say anything either, he's just as bad. Sky love a good wind-up, which is why they have the club's most hated commenting on our goings on all the time.
  4. Souness. Fuck off putting him on there man
  5. Exactly. Ashley moves the goal posts. If she offered 300m he'd suddenly want 350m.
  6. Quite sad to be honest. He put in a good shift against West Ham and I think he's a good option for us given what we have. I wonder if him starting that game was simply to put him in the shop window?

If I thought 30k wouldn't renew next season I'd do the same in a shot in the hope of forcing his hand but the reality is that 95%+ will renew because they see it as a day on the drink, a social occasion. Most of the rebels have probably jacked it in now so I doubt it'll even get too hostile anyway, not that he's ever venture within 300 miles of the place to see for himself. Maybe if Rafa walked that would stir a few people perhaps. That's fair, but I think that's where the problem lies within our fanbase as a whole. For some it may be a lack of will power, for some it's a case of waiting to see what others do, whereas for others it may be actually not being bothered enough to take it as far as a protest regardless of whether there's one or not and letting things run their course. Personally I stopped going in 2013 and promised myself I wouldn't even so much as buy anything from the club again until Ashley is gone. However if I knew that a good sum of fans were prepared to give up their seat for 1 game and protest with others outside the stadium for change at the club, I'd make sure I was there for it. I agree though that if Rafa walks then more people will be likely willing to do something to that level and finally hit Ashley in the pocket. Strength in numbers and all that.

Nobody should be going to the games now after the latest fiasco to be honest. I think we're all on the same side here deep down Ashley is pocketing our money from attendances and giving Rafa nothing. Rafa has literally had to sell to buy. The impact that an empty stadium during a televised game would have would be quite massive in my opinion, even if it's just one.
  9. What's worse, imagine people believing him. Dire state of affairs man.
  10. Someone should put forward a fiver, or a tenner just to show they're doubly serious. What an absolute joke he is man. Hope someone farts in his next curry.
  11. Dammit... Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit, fucking dammit! Once Rafa walks, I'm done with it.

What an amazing night that was man. What's more, that run we went on when we found our form with that 4-3-3 was just so much fun to watch. The Spurs and Reading games were classic Keegan football.
  13. You've been banging on about the 20th for a while, I hope to the football gods your right. That'll be when Rafa walks.
  14. Can't help but hope it ends up going the way of Scarface tbh Amanda: My associate immediately recognized his garbage. He was an informant for the mackems.
  15. As soon as we started doing it, journos and pundits everywhere would suddenly start asking the question of whether or not our transfer policy and spending all that money is harming the future of England's national team. You just know it. Anyone give a f***? England is just another team for the southerners and tourists to support. England have been s*** for f***ing years and football left them behind decades ago. Chill out All I'm saying is that narrative would be spun by the media if we of all clubs just so happened to come into money. Personally I'd rather see Newcastle achieve success ahead of England as any Newcastle fan would, but I'd still love to see England bring through a whole generation of outstanding players and do well in competitions if the offer was on the table. The talent pool we had for Euro '96 was just ridiculous compared to now. England doing well is irrelevant to the point I was making though.

  17. I'd disagree with that. A club with unlimited funds has to start somewhere and while it would be a 2-3 season build, it's not impossible. Build a foundation to get us into Europe with good enough players to break the top 6. Under Rafa and an ambitious board that would definitely be possible. Once you get into the top 6 I'd say it's more of a level playing field for a club with endless funds. You'd definitely be in with a good shout to break the top 4 from there in my opinion.
  18. Wise and Ferdinand. It was like watching Smiffy and Plug.
  19. I can see the buildup now... Each brother was given half a medallion and their paths both led to the 4th round of the FA Cup.
  20. Got to agree with this. His trying to make sense of everything is much more inviting than journos saying "Nah it's not happening. Club is as good as done"
  21. Last time we played them in a cup game was 2010, before that was 2006. Last time we played them in the FA Cup was 2003. 2005. Kluivert 1-0
