You mean we ARE attractive? Was that a typo? Genuine question... Yes, I meant we are. Oh good! Thought you were baiting Wullie just for the fun of it there !!
-
Probably aye, hopefully that means we've stayed up. The only reason i'd definitely keep him is if we went down! Don't think we could do much better tbh.

Tbh i don't understand why some are taking things so personally but hey ho Me neither. Nobody likes an optimist, Ian

Couldn't see Ashley paying it tbh.... unless he took it out of the transfer fund but tbh i would take that trade at the moment Me too. In fact, if that was our only 'transfer' i think it would be worth doing.
-
If that's really true then i think he's be worth it. Proved himself a good coach and was a such a distinguished player that he in himself would be a draw for other players. Will be well pleased if we can get him. It's just that Ashley has never paid out compensation to get his man, and is more likely to want to spend the 5m on a player. Every managerial appointment is a risk. However, Laudrup knows the league (which is hugely important imo), proved himself and is a draw. I'm sure FMA could see the benefit of having him here. Well worth £5m if true.
-
I agree. Can't help but think there would be a lot more to it though!

1 year left on his contract iirc. Depends if he'd want to come. If he did i think he has a history of throwing his toys about until he gets his move.
-
The least risky is Laudrup imo. (Don't think Moyes is affordable)
-
Until recently I thought it was Wullie and Toon's Taylor who were my main nemeses. Is that a word? Most people are lucky to get one nemesis, Ian Greedy b******d !

If the club employ new coaches to train the team to play to their strengths, i have to be honest, i wouldn't be against the idea of seeing him into next season. If it's the same lot as this season, then i would think it's time for a change. It's ok making mistakes and then saying he's learning by them but then he makes lots of other mistakes. Enough for me to really wonder why he can't see most of them coming. We need someone who can anticipate future events and act accordingly not just someone who can analyse the past. There's a BIG difference.
-
He needs him to keep some sort of foothold in the dressing room imo.
-
I'll bet there's more than a grain of truth in that. It's a rock, man. Made of a BILLION grains stuck together.
-
I can honestly say, the reason, i think, is that he goes to great lengths to be liked by his players is because they haven't got any other reasons to respect him.
-
Odd thing is, he then goes on to give a pretty long list of reasons why he hasn't been good enough.
-
What a good addition he would be! Like a good Taarabt Him on the left, HBA on the right. Both cutting in, Haidara and Debuchey giving the width. Oooooohhhhh, missus!

1 from the top, 4 from the middle and 1 from the bottom please Carol. -
I don't see how maturity comes into not being bothered what somebody thinks, should I be? It's no surprise that you try to make something out of it though. Do you really think I'm bothered about you thinking I'm bothered about you not behind bothered, like? You're really quite confrontational. But not that brave about it at the same time. Quite a feat tbh.
-
If he's good enough, i hope so too!

67 long balls per game last season. Pretty close to what we were hittting before the new year. Course, people don't complain about it while we're winning. Well you're wrong there. It's more accurate to say that people get laughed at for complaining while we're winning. Now we're losing. Agreed. I called it plenty last season and i was far from the only one.

Is a good article.
-
Aren't you meant to be a bit on the tall and wide side? Just threaten them witha genuine pounding.

You're so gullible, you'll always give him another game. Thought I'd got away with a couple of pages without attracting an idiotic insult there. FWIW I wasn't commenting on anything other than these quotes. If 'gullible' is an insult now then the world is really getting bloody precious. It's not exactly nice is it? This is thankfully on the whole a very non-confrontational and friendly board, calling somebody gullible is about as bad as it gets for the most part. No need to cry offense over something so petty. at you 'ing it.
