I wanted to keep Downing, but 20m cheered me immensely. He's a decent player, but he will need time to settle. When we bought him - when he couldn't so much as stand up let alone play for several months, so thanks for paying us back, you lizard faced CUNT - we waited for him to get fit, then he had a half season of looking utterly atrocious. Last season he looked far better. He's not a 20m player, though. One thing I'll say for him, I know wingers aren't meant to go crunching into tackles too often, but Downing bottles more challenges than any other player I have ever seen.

That's like that photo FIFA posted on their site of Blatter shaking hands with Tokyo Sexwhale (finest name ever) the day after that racism row broke out. Look! Me! Being nice to a black person!

This is interesting. http://thefcf.co.uk/2012/01/11/suarez-dalglish-kunt-kop/

Semtex looks a bit like Father Dougal in that photo.

Defensive Striker.

We should have beaten them at Villa Park the other week. I was staggered we ended up losing that match. We were much the better team. We can raise our game very well when we try. It just seems a bit random.

The ACN is definitely a blessing for you (other than the fact he's not playing for you, obv), as it makes it less likely he'll be moving.

Heskey is out for four weeks, thank the baby jesus, so he won't be featuring.

That's a good shout. Maybe I'll hoy a bet on it. DON'T FAIL ME, BRUMMIE!!! Obviously, the main problem is that we're insufferably shitter this year than we were in any of the previous five.

They'll probably offer 45m for him.

Crikey. Blackburn to Bolton = frying pan into, err, another frying pan.

I fancy us to do Arsenal in the next round. We've got a pretty good record at the Emirates. W2 D2 L1, I think.

When we kicked off at Bristol the other night, the first pass was back to Collins, who was in acres of space, plenty of team mates around him. What did he do? Hoofed it 60 yards up field. I mean no offence (I'm sure you aren't taking any) by saying that as you do have players with great quality and I'm not just picking on Villa. I just hate players like Collins, it's pretty much what I hate about English football, being able to get by just because they are strong. Oh, I take absolutely no offence. Collins is one of the least technically adept footballers I have ever seen. Fortunately, he's the type of lump of shit MON loves, so there has to be a chance we'll wind up at SunderLOL.

I think we need to know which way the Spurs Forum Council of Elders has adjudged this rumour. What say they, MJ? Or are they yet to announce their judgement? The Leffe Council of Me judges it to be complete made-up bollocks, courtesy of the Metro. They have form, are not fans of Spurs and the story itself was actually about Redknapp talking about Samba. They just make it up, frankly. I'm afraid I absolutely refuse to believe that. It can't be not true.

I cant believe there's any truth in this Spurs wanting James Collins thing, but I fucking pray it is true. Can't wait to see how Harry combines the witless Collins hoof into his tight footballing side. He's been utter gash for two years now, I'd carry him down there myself.
-
That's a problem, but it isn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that everyone now knows that the most startling in-form striker in the league can be had at some time in the next 3 weeks for a very low fee.

Me neither tbh. Brady , Gold and Sullivan have probably told him that to which he does his usual moronic thing of going public. Why would any of them know what Ba has been offered? What club signs a player on a free then tells his old club the contract they have offered? West Ham's knowledge of Demba Ba's contract ended with the one they had given him. That's a bit naive. Agents talk to football clubs all the time, and not just about business that involves them directly. I wouldnt put it past those utter fucking shysters Gold, Sullivan and Brady, anyway.
-
indeed. Still i don't get how Redknapp is allowed to say these things. I mean fair enough if you have been leaked details or a player's contract but you should not be allowed to then publicly spill them Because Redknapp is the world's worst at tapping up other clubs' players, that's why. He does it every summer and every January. There he is for the SSN cameras, leaning out of his Range Rover talking about players who play for other clubs.

This is like a microcosm of what is wrong with football. You (although it isn't relevant it is you) go out and find a player who has had an iffy history previously, is threatened by injury, and take a chance on him. He does exceptionally well for you, but within three months his agent - and clearly this has come from his agent - is publishing the fact he has a cheap release clause in his contract. It doesn't take much to work out what is going to happen here, be it now or in the summer. The saddest thing about football in this country is that you can't build anything, and the reason for this is because of the vast network of non-contributing cunts swarming around the game, making money.

Three goals by homegrown players. That'll do. Not to mention almost another by FutureEnglandCaptain.

Future England captain just come on for us.
